My 13-year-old cat was not doing well. She began vomiting multiple times a day and was barely pooping. She could only tolerate about half a teaspoon of food every hour or so. I tried putting pumpkin in her food after changing to an all wet food diet. The result was somewhat better intermittently for a few weeks but then I had orange vomit to clean up daily. At wits end I tried Vet's Best Hairball Remedy. My cat started improving rapidly. I now crush a pill with a mortar and pestle morning and evening adding this to her wet food and adding a few tablespoons of water with it . It is beyond well worth every bit of effort because my cat might throw up once every few weeks now at most and it is usually strictly a hairball. She poops every day without a doubt. She acts a lot younger being able to jump on the back of the couch which she had not done in quite some time. I cannot say enough good things about this product. I feel it was a lifesaver. I had tried different gels etc. and other pills but nothing even slightly compares. I was afraid to give the suggested dose of two pills a day but one in the morning and one in the evening works like a charm! Truly amazing product.

The best treat for our cats! Babe, Maddy, and Rose come from all parts of the house when they hear the tabs rattle in the bottle.
We have used Vet's Best hairball relief for years with great results-no ugly wet fur clumps anywhere! Unbelievable price on this site, too.

My Himalayan used to come running when I shook the bottle. But they must have changed the formula recently. I just received a new bottle and now she turns up her nose at the tablets. The product was sooo helpful in the past and kept her from having fur balls. I'm very disappointed that it has changed.

The tablets are now much easier to break. But the ingredient has also changed drastically. Good ingredients such as brewers yeast and dried chicken are replaced by fillers such as cellulose. As a result, my cat won't eat it and she used to beg for it as a treat. It almost looks like that the formula is changed to reduce the cost. But actually I would be glad to pay a little more for a great product, instead of having to start a new search for a good product that relieves her hairball problem and suits her taste.

I had to crush these pills into dust and sprinkle them on my cats food I order to get them to take them. They have not liked them and still do not like them. However, it is an effective hairball treatment if you can get it into your cats.

My large male cat was frequently throwing up leaving "surprises" for me to find and clean up. Since He has been taking the supplement, he has not had one
occurrence. He loves it as a treat each morning. His female litter mate does not have digestive issues so she does not get one. Causing a little sibling rivalry.

VB Hairball Relief works very well when used as directed to control hairballs for both of my kitties. I wish the tablets were a little easier to break up before feeding but all in all - my kitties like them and hairballs are pretty nonexistent during the heavy shedding season.

We have two cats and both used to vomit fur balls around the house.
We fed them some hairball control paste with their food, and the incidents were less frequent.
Now that they are on this product the puddles of vomit are almost gone! Hooray!
