Wellness Complete Health Beef & Salmon Formula Canned Cat Food
Wellness Beef and Salmon saved my cat's life
My 10 year old cat, Louie, has inflammatory bowel disease. Wellness Beef and Salmon literally saved his life. This is the only canned food his damaged intestines can tolerate. The grainfree ingredients are high quality and easily digestible. I like the fact that there is no pea protein. Many cats have trouble digesting peas. After exploratory surgery in 2009, the vets had given up on him. He'd lost so much weight. After beginning Wellness Beef and Salmon, Louie's longstanding diarrhea cleared up. He has gained weight and plays like a kitten again. Our vet calls it a miracle.

Texture is very cat pleasing
This food has solved two big problems: 1. a cat who has become severely allergic to chicken and 2. another cat who is very, very picky and resistant to change and new foods.
Both problems solved in one can! The salmon/beef has no chicken or chicken by-products and apparently is very tasty!
In addition to taste, the consistency/texture of food is very important to "Mr. Picky" (not his name!) and this is a soft pate, easily licked, rather than the dense, stiff texture of so many other "healthful" foods.
He also loves beef, so there is another bonus here.

My cats' 3rd most favorite.
Since I started using Wellness brand my 3 cats' energy has changed. They're more active and hardly ever cough up hairballs. I've tried all the flavors and their most favorite flavor is Turkey & Salmon, 2nd is Chicken & Herring and 3rd is Beef & Salmon.
I highly recomend this brand.

Soft consistency--good for my older cat.
Fussy 14 yr old cat who is losing weight puts his stamp of approval on this.

Sookie would not eat this after many tries and ways of serving.
Sookie refused to eat this. I had forgotten that she, early on, did not favor pates. I tried several times and several ways. Now I have a case minus 4 cans to share.
since she doesn't like it, I can't recommend it for her. but for other cats it might be just fine. Don't know how to rate it for the general population. For Ms Fussy Pants, not recommended!

I love that there are no meat-by-products in Wellness Cat food
I started buying the wellness canned food about a year ago. It has helped my cat with (excuse me) but the gas problem she was having. She no longer has that problem at all and her fur is So healthy and shiny. She also sheds a lot less, and the real bonus is that she really likes this food. Only one problem, and that is that she will not eat the dry food. I just think she is spoiled!

I like it and so do my cats and both of us are very discriminating.
I wanted a product that had no by-products, no regular table salt, low carb and good supplements and nutrition. My two cats like cat food that is not too dry, easy to eat, well-ground and is high in protein. I have tried almost every brand on the market and for most of them they do not eat the whole can. This is one of the few cans they will eat and I am happy with because it provides the nutrients they need.

good food! My cat loves it!
I bought 12.5 oz cans, because it is a bit cheaper than buying 5.5 oz cans. The only complaint is that it is not super convenient to open or measure how much to give the cat. I wish the cans have half line somewhere outside or inside so that I know that I actually give my cat half the food..
