My cats love it!
I have four senior cats who, as time has gone on, have developed grain allergies. They're picky about food (must be pate, for example), and it never fails that if two of them like one type of food, the other two will scratch over it with disdain. FINALLY, I stumbled across the Wellness line, and this is something that all four of them happily eat. They love this one (Chicken and Herring) and also the Turkey and Salmon version. Hooray!

Product Inconsistencies
Sometimes it's more Herrring than Chicken (or visa versa). Very frustrating.

My cats don't eat the Wellness brand food
Because my cats appear to be used to just Friskies classic pate flavors and don't like bits or slices or Wellness brand, in general, I stopped buying it.
It could well be that if my cats were introduced to Wellness before I adopted them as ferals, they would prefer it.

a little mushy, but otherwise a good product
The cats like it so I guess it's okay as is, but for me it seems a little mushy and the empty cans are harder to clean than the straight chicken for instance. On the bright side it has minimal odor for a fish based food.

Certainly one of the BEST (wholesome ingredients)!
Of course as w/any cat food whether it be canned or dry, the bottom line indicator is watching your kitty eat. Since our little creatures can't speak our native language (English) caretakers must rely solely on consumption and digestion. Wellness- Chicken & Herring passes the test, at least all eight (8) of my felines prefer it, however I've learned that they do not care for fish and any of the formulas containing fish.
I wish that Wellness would produce & market "Freeze-Dried" cat food, but since they currently do not, I've ordered some from another producer. Soon I'll observe and know if "Freeze-Dried" formulas offer any additional appeal. I anticipate that it will. But for now, we have Wellness canned foods.

My cats love it
My two kitties go crazy over this stuff. The Vet recommended an all canned food diet and suggested this brand. There are about six different kinds. I tried out all six with my cats and they seemed to only like the Chicken and Herring and Turkey flavors. Upon placing my order, Mr Chewy delivered to my house in two days with free shipping. Cant beat it!

Guess it's not tasty
This was recommended by the vet, so I bought a case for my 2 cats who love meat, but they hate it! I think it's the texture, it's very soft, no texture at all.
