Rated 4 out of 5 by LouW Dented cans
My cat loves this food but at least 1/3 of the cans in the case I ordered were severely dented. I had trouble opening them and I even had to throw some out because the seal had been broken. This is the second time this has happened to me.
Other than the condition of the cans, the food is high quality and satisfies my cat. I will buy it again.

Ah, cats! Why is it they will devour a particular brand & variety of food one day and leave it untouched another? My gang (3 adult girls, 2 adolescent boys) really seemed to like this, so I ordered a case. Now it is maybe we'll eat it, maybe we'll walk away. They do the same with the regular Wellness Core, and several other brands too, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised...but it sure does get frustrating! Good thing I love them so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by rmportland very high quality food, well packed shipment
Our cats ate dry food for a long time. It was difficult switching them to canned food, but this seems like really high quality food. I noticed that some reviews mentioned problems with cans getting dented in shipping. I had that problem with another supplier. My shipment from Chewy was well packed with an additional inside box offering protection of the cans. Of course, if they work at it, the shippers can still ding the cans. But it should happen less often with this packaging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TuxieLover He LOVES it!!!!
I've been feeding Julian Wellness since I adopted him, mostly b/c of his FIV status, but always feed holistic food to animals. Wellness is the best out there, as far as my personal research has shown. He is a little tubby, though because he like it so much! I just discovered CORE Grain-Free Indoor Formula, but was wondering if he'd like it as much - MORE! He doesn't pick all day like he used to, just twice a day and he tells me when. He eats it with gusto, doesn't pick at it. It's only been a 1.5 weeks, no observable wt. loss yet, but he's super healthy, shiny & happy with plenty of energy and I feel better about it. Admittedly, I love his Buddha belly, but he would be healthier without it! :-D/

Rated 5 out of 5 by Judith42 One of the best canned cat foods.
My two adult male cats, one who will eat almost anything I give him (bless the big sweetheart) and the other who was rescued as a feral kitten at 3 weeks, seems to prefer bread, crackers or any people food high in carbs (I try to stop him!) they both will eat most Wellness canned. I got a few cans of several cans that they haven't had at the local petstore to try before ordering a case. They both loved the Core indoor chicken. The ingredients are excellent. I just ordered a case of this Core indoor to be part of their rotation diet, along with Orijen regional red dry. This dry food is the best on the market, If you read the ingredient llist, or visit Champions web site I think you will be impressed. I believe cats should have at least 80% canned food so they only share 3 tablespoons a day. But they do love it. And it is very low in carbs for a dry food.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CTerrwyn Good food and great quality but my cat won't eat it.
I have two cats. One is a very picky eater and the other will usually chow down on anything. We got halfway through this case before my picky cat suddenly refused to eat it. I'm not sure if she got tired of the flavor or just doesn't like it. The other cat will eat it until he notices the first cat won't, and then he walks away from it. He tends to follow her lead. Because of this I won't be ordering this particular flavor in the future. However, I will stick with Wellness Core as they both enjoy other flavors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by veggiemommie Superior Quality Wet Food
Admittedly, I used to feed my house cats grocery store bought wet food. I purchased Fancy Feast thinking it was the best thing I could get without having to go to specialty pet food stores, and spending a mint on other brands. I recently adopted a malnourished kitty found in our neighborhood, and was feeding her FF while fostering her and actively trying to find her former home. I did a lot of research because she wasn't gaining weight as expected and sometimes didn't even finish her food, which I thought was odd considering she was so underfed. I purchased this formula and mixed it 1/2 & 1/2 to transition her tummy, and she literally ate around the FF and started looking MUCH healthier overall. No digestion issues and I feel it's best to trust her on what she needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DotingMom Some cats prefer fish flavors.
I'm sure that this is a great product for some cats. We have two purebred younger cats (around 3 years old, twin brothers, nicknamed "the princelings") and a senior rescue cat (around 16 years old, nicknamed "the Czar"--he looks like a Russian blue). The Czar has a healthy appetite, but the princelings are picky. We like to feed them very high quality wet food because it is healthy and good for their coats. For some time I have been hunting around for something that they all like. I ordered this because of all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, they will barely look at it. They sniff and walk away. The point of this review: "fish-free" just doesn't appeal to every cat. I have reordered more Wellness....but in the salmon blend!
