Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Chicken Frick 'A Zee Chicken Recipe Au Jus Canned Cat Food
My cats love Cats in the Kitchen in cans
While looking for a better quality food for my cats, I discovered Cats in the Kitchen pouches at a local store. My cats loved the food, but the pouches were not my favorite container. I ordered 3 different canned chicken versions of Cats in the Kitchen from www.chewy.com...Funk in the Trunk, Frick 'A Zee Chicken and Fowl Ball. My order arrived about 1 week later. The canned versions are more gelatinous and less watery than the pouches, are much nicer to dish out and MY CATS LOVE THEM! I have never seen them as enthusiastic about any other canned food! I cannot buy the canned Cats in the Kitchen locally, so will continue to order.

This Weruva is a mix of white chicken breast and darker chicken meat whereas the ORIGINAL Weruva (such as Funky Chunky Chicken and Grandma's Chicken Soup) contain only shredded white chicken breast....My 3 cats do like this and eat it; however, if given the option, they prefer all white meat for some reason....

Cats love it!
My cat family is very happy with this selection! I bought small sized cans and I will check with my next order if it comes in a larger size. Since starting my older, overweight cat on the Weruva canned food, he has lost weight ( a good thing!) and he is much more active

Looks like shredded chicken
My cat of 20 years loves this.
She had been sick, and sluggish
After 4 antibiotic shots over a period of 4 months, and being on this food.
She is old, but she is back to her self, again.
Believe no gluten, and good vitamins in this food have made the difference.
She lets me know when she wants to eat.
I also serve her out of a small bowl that I purchased at Pier 1. Makes it easier for her to eat the food.

Nutritious and Tasty, but makes for stinky litter box
This food is an excellent choice for nutrition. The ratio between protein, fat, and carbs is ideal for cats. However, the food contains locust bean gum and guar gum- both soluble fibers- that increased the quantity and smelliness of my cats' stool. My cats were also quite gaseous while on this food. I switched to Weruva's Paw Lickin' Chicken which has much less soluble fiber and a similar protein-fat-carb ratio. The result has been much less smell from the litter box and less to scoop :)
That being said- my cats did prefer the taste of the Chicken Frick A'zee over the Paw Lickin' Chicken, and the chicken was more shredded in the Chicken Frick A'Zee.

The hands down best wet food. It's REAL human quality chicken
I've tried MANY MANY different brands of cat food and for the price you pay and the amount you get, this is well worth it. Not only is it best for your cat's health because it's not full of fillers or ingredients that could trigger allergies, but it's real chicken in a can. It looks good enough for me to eat and put in my sandwich lol! This food is irresistible to cats. Even the most finicky cat would eat it unless they just outright hate chicken and I'm pretty sure 99% of cats love chicken. Out of all foods I've tried for my cats, my cats obsess over this food.

Excellent nutritional quality
This food has a great macronutrient profile (51% protein, 47% fat, 2% carb), is low in phosphorus (174 mg/100 kcal), and contains no starch, gluten, soy or carrageenan. You might want to add an omega-3 supplement, since sunflower oil is the primary fat here, and the thickening gums used may cause cats with IBD some digestive woes, but, no food's perfect, and this one's about as good as it gets with canned. The texture is long shreds in thin broth, which many cats will love but some won't (mine included, unfortunately; she's a hardcore chunks devotee). But if you can afford the cost and think your cat might be receptive to shredded chicken, the nutritional quality here makes it well worth a try.

Quality cat food that my cats love. They tend to lap of the juice first, and they almost always clean their bowls. Looks like canned chicken for humans!
This is one of the very few flavors of the "Cats in the Kitchen" line that doesn't include fish; the other one is "Fowl Ball." "Funk in the Truck," which is described as chicken in pumpkin consomme, includes tuna.
