Rated 2 out of 5 by 6Felines My cats normally LOVE this food
I am a rescue and spend hundreds of dollars a week on my little monsters (cats) as I only believe in giving them the highest quality food. When I discovered I could get cases from Chewy at a much lower price, I jumped at the opportunity. For some reason all 6 cats put their nose up to the same food they've been eating for almost a year. I'm wondering if the batches that Chewy sells are "seconds" or "rejects"??? I noticed more chunks of white greasy fat pieces mixed in and a thicker layer of gel on top than what my local pet store has in theirs. No wonder they wouldn't eat it. Gross! If I take out the chunks of fat and gel and stir in a few tablespoons of water, they will eat a little more but still a lot goes to waste. I don't have the time or money to do this everyday.
I wanted to test what's really going on with them so I picked up a couple cans from my local store and what do you know, all 6 cats cleaned up their bowls and wanted more. Chewy, please clarify to me the quality of your canned food and how you are able to sell it cheaper than anywhere else online and in large pet food chains?! Am I right about the "rejects"? Many of my large cans were dented upon arrival but the small cans came without a scratch. My cats also prefer the food in the small cans over the large ones, but for how many cans I'd have to go through to satisfy them, I'd be bankrupt in no time.
On a more positive note however, the customer service was absolutely impeccable and willing to give them another try! I ordered my product I believe on a Monday and received it before I went to work on Wednesday that same week. Now that's what I call service! Getting my order in less than 2 days is unheard of. Thank you for that!
So Chewy, please, please, please fill my order with the same quality products as my local pet store and/or try another distributor for my next order. I'm giving you another try because of your customer service but can't compromise the quality of my cats diet if it doesn't work this time around. Thank you in advance for making this right.

I made the mistake of not thoroughly checking the ingredient list of each recipe from Weruva. The ingredients start out good till you hit the first gum as 4th on the list. This recipe contains all 3 of the gums...bad!
It also contains Menadione Bisulfate, a cheap vitamin that is banned for human consumption.

Happy to report Marshmallow, Cocoa and Butterscotch think this is the "cat's meow"..ha ha...This is a combination of lamb and tuna and has a thicker consistency than the ORIGINAL Weruva...We solve this problem by adding in a little distilled water....Again, this is a carangeenan free food which I am pleased about....Highly recommend!

My cat loves it! Ever since I started feeding Weruva Shreeded Chicken, she leaves the ground type foods alone. But this one she gobbled up, despite the fact that it is ground with shreeded chicken in it.
What I couldn't find was the au jus! Opened several cans so far an none had liquid in it, instead it had a fair amount of gelatin.

Recent health issues for my cat made me avoid chicken, beef, and seafood. Once we found lamb burgini, she probably wouldn't eat them even if offered. This is her absolute favorite of any lamb, venison, rabbit or other less common meats. I can grind her tablets in it and she'll still eat.

My cats are finicky so it's nice to find a food both of them will eat.
