Rated 5 out of 5 by Molly This is the litter that suits my needs and my cats' the best by far
I really needed a litter that my cat would find as appealing as possible because she formerly lived with a cat that bullied her in the litter box so it's a sensitive place. This seemed soft and dirt-like and did not have any weird added scent that would discourage her. It also does not create too much inhalable dust like clay litters. She approved, which is the most important thing!
For me, it's also a great litter because it is FLUSHABLE. It's never caused any problems for my toilet, and I've been using it for about 6 months now. (My cat is fully indoors so I don't have to worry about her having toxoplasmosis and spreading it through the sewer system). It also clumps well, making the litter very easily scoopable if the cat hasn't accidentally walked through it, which normally doesn't happen if I clean the boxes daily.
Some litter does get outside the box because she kicks it out, but I don't find it anywhere else so I don't think it tracks very well which is also wonderful.

I love this litter because it has no smell. It clumps very quickly with urine. I will admit there is not much odor control for feces but I check it twice a day. I wanted a litter that you could not smell. Even though the other litters have good odor control for the feces, they contain a perfume that smells too. You can always tell when you enter a house with cats. I did not want to smell that "cat" smell. This stuff does the trick. It is a little pricey but it lasts forever. I would give it an excellent rating but it is still a little dusty which is why I only said it was good. My cat digs in his litter so much he will come out of his domed litter box with this litter on his back! I guess that is why I have the dust problem. Plus it seems safer to me when they get it on their paws and clean themselves after. It's corn based instead of silica.

I was a little skeptical when I first purchased this as it was a little more expensive than other brands I have tried, but it is totally worth it. I moved into a condo where I don't have access to an outside trash can to put the "used" litter so was interested in the ability to "flush" it. This litter is great. Not only can I safely flush it if I want, but if I don't, it has little smell and no "dust" that other clay type litter creates. You have to get used to the "corn" formula and not expect it to have the consistency of clay but therein lies what makes it the world's best litter because it's different. I will not go back to clay litter after discovering this product.

I totally loved World's Best Cat Litter. I wouldn't let my husband buy anything else. It is a really superior litter in terms of clumping and odor control. Until.... we rescued a new cat. He began peeing all over the place and refused to go in the box. We thought he had food allergies and spent a lot of $$ trying to figure that out. Finally, I don't know how, we narrowed it down to the litter. Upon changing the litter, all his symptoms went away (excessive licking with fur loss, black gunk that was not mites in ears, etc.). I think he must be sensitive to corn, which I had never heard of in cats.
So, just a warning. This litter is great - but if your cat is having mysterious allergic symptoms not affected by change of food - try changing your litter! I'm sad to say goodbye to World's Best - but my cat is happy, and I no longer have to clean up cat urine so I'm happy :)

I switched from the World's Best Multicat formula to this one because it is a little cheaper. I actually like this one better. It does not seem as dusty as the Multi-cat formula and I do not notice any difference in the effectiveness for controlling odor and lasting clumping ability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Janie Concerned that it attracts rodents
I loved this product and have bought several of the "red" bags. Switched to the "green" formula and have found repeated evidence of rodent droppings in and around the litter boxes. My two large cats spend the nights in the attached "laundry"room of our old house as they have for years and this is the first time I have had this problem. It coincides with the litter switch and I can't help but think that the corn litter is making the mice and or rats thrive. I am setting traps and have to move my "mouser cats" out away from the traps.

I love everything about this cat litter formula: great clumping, essentially no odor, my cat likes it and it does everything that it said on the bag.

WB Corn-based litter is worth the cost when you consider it is nearly dustless. No other litter comes close. We will always use it. But Chewys really impressed us in our first transaction with them. They shipped 6-28 lb bags of litter, got them here very quickly and each bag was packed so as not to be damaged in anyway. Their prices can't be beat, the quick service and ease of ordering makes them our go-to store for supplies for our 6 felines. Great Job Chewy!! We are glad we found you!!
