Product Description

No diet for older felines on the market has proven itself like Wysong Geriatrx cat food. It is created by a veterinarian and owes its popularity solely to veterinary recommendation and word of mouth. Geriatrx healthy cat food has been fed to tens of thousands of felines through multiple generations for over thirty years. Remarkable results include long standing robust vitality and long life. This improved formulation is designed to take advantage of new processing methods to preserve natural value, and nutritional advances in epigenetics and nutrigenomics. Geriatrx is higher in meats, organs, protein, fat, and contains a comprehensive spectrum and higher levels of micronutrients/nutraceuticals including prebiotics, probiotics, enzymes, omega-3s, antioxidants and more. Small quantities of fruits and vegetables mimic what may be consumed in the viscera of prey, and contribute important vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other nutrients. Premium high quality nutrition is extremely important with aging digestion, physiology, and immune function.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good quality, seems palatable. I feel that this is a good quality food but it doesn't seem to have enough of an appeal over the food I offer for free feeding to get my one senior cat to eat it when I offer it to her. All the other cats are eating it, so they must like it, but it costs more than my regular kibble. Due to its cost I can't really justify replacing my free feed kibble for all the cats, but I can't get my picky senior to eat just this food when there is another available for free feeding. More a problem of my household than the food itself. October 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for finicky eater My senior cat has renal issues and is on a prescription diet canned food, but did not like the dry version. My vet said that limiting the protein intake was important and the Wysong Geriatrix has a lower protein level than most others, but more important is that he actually LIKES it and will eat it. I highly recommend this. November 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by so far, so good Cats have been switching over to this new food slowly, so I can't be too specific, except to say that they seem to like it. They are geriatric barn cats, and we'd like to keep them healthy as long as possible! June 18, 2014
