Rated 3 out of 5 by grandmadebbieg OUR VET RECOMMENDED IT!!!!!!
I PURCHASED THIS AFTER WE HAD TWO CATS DECLAWED AND OUR VET INSTRUCTED US TO PURCHASE THIS. ONE BOX I TORE UP PAPERS AND PUT OVER THE TOP OF THIS LITTER BECAUSE ONE OF THE CATS WOULD NOT GO IN IT. WHEN THE CATS USE THE LITTER BOX IT SMELLS LIKE THEY ARE RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. DOES NOT DISGUISE THE ODOR AT ALL. SERVED THJE PURPOSE THAT IT WAS PURCHASED FOR. PURCHASED A LARGE BAG AND DID NOT NEED THAT MUCH SO GIVING LEFTOVER TO MY DAUGHTER SINCE HER CAT WILL BE DECLAWED IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Have used this product for a long time - really like it. No dust - no smell - no dirty litter pans when go to change litter.
First time ordering from Chewy. Worked out great. Very quick. Litter came in a box - very nice way to store it.
Highly recommend Yesterday's News Litter & Chewy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by astrasMOM great for cats who kick litter
My firm belief was that my boyfriends cat was looking for a gold medal in littler flinging. it was EVERYWHERE- gross!!!! I finally convinced him to get this- it works great. Every once in a while we find a pellet here or there. MUCH better than litter spread across the room. The only catch is- USE AS DIRECTED! Only fill about 1 inch in the litter box- and you do need to clean it every 1-2 days AND empty it it ALL every 3-4. If you can handle that this is a great product. Also - it doesnt sift so be ready for that. If you hate litter everywhere as much as I do- try this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brenda healthy for your kitty - and clean and simple!
Have used this (unscented) forever -- easy to clean up -- flushable (wet litter and waste), safer for your kitties too! No clay or chemicals for them to ingest from their paws.
We flush the wet litter and waste several times a day (we have three kitties) and completely strip out the boxes every couple of days - just hot water rinse, wipe with enzyme cleaner, sprinkle some baking soda and a couple inches of this litter. Might sound like a lot of work but only takes minutes and your kitties will love you for it.
I am listing other under types of pets because we have dogs, cats, and chickens - and normally horses too but we've lost the three we had in recent years and haven't yet adopted more.

Love this litter! No tracking and NO dust. Works a little different than clumping litters in that you can't scoop the urine. This means that you have to dump the entire contents about once a week. If you do this, you will have zero odors. Easy cleanup, nothing sticks to the pan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mandogirl No dust all over house
I first used this when one of my cats had surgery on his paw. But I loved it so much I kept using it. My cats didn't want to use it a first but did after a day or two. The best part is this litter produces no dust. I don't have the layer of dust on all my furniture I had before, and it's much better for my asthma. I'm not breathing that dust all day long. I use the unscented soft texture, I've never used the other ones yet. It does "track," in other words the little pellets come off on the cat's feet when they walk away, but they are easy to see and pick up. But it's much much better than the old clay or clump litter, I will never go back. Cats can't "dig" in it like before but they don't seem to mind. I change the litter fairly often, probably more than I used to, but it's worth it. The urine goes to the bottom (but doesn't stick to the bottom and make a slimy mess like the old litter) and the solid waste can be seen on top (kind of hard to see but you figure it out.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dogsarefamily Great litter for cats and birds too!
I needed a new cage litter for my birds when the brand I was using suddenly became discontinued at my local feed store. The clerk immediately recommended Yesterday's News Original Formula *
Besides looking identical to the other litter, it is completely safe with no scents, fragrances or odors and most importantly, non-toxic. It is also just as the bag says - dust free and tough on odors. I now buy Yesterday's News Original Formula from Chewy as you can't beat Chewy's prices, convenience and super fast delivery!
* If using for birds, I recommend using ONLY the Original Formula.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Truckle Nothing to harm their digestive tract.
Cats will lick their paws, and all the clays, corn or what-have-you, will find their way into their digestive tracts. They always get some particulates caught up in their fur, claws and toes. Over months, that can cause problems. If it pulls the moisture out of their urine and makes a hard ball, imagine what it does to their insides over time. Yes, there isn't much data on this, but, I just don't feel comfortable with those clay/corn/silica crystal products.
I have two tidy cat breeze pans, and one with this Good News product. One cat likes this more.
