by Mike526 Acana is the BEST!!!
My dog, Ashe, is a 7 1/2 year old miniature schnauzer. She recently suffered from GI issues resulting in loose stools and an urgency to go that resulted in "messes" in my condo on a daily basis. We made several trips to the vet and had multiple tests run. The vet prescribed a diet change and sold me the prescribed food. Ashe did not get any better. After a few more trips to the vet, and an additional few hundred dollars, I was more frustrated than ever. And, Ashe was still suffering from the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Disease--diagnosis from the vet. My son recommended Acana dog food. I made the switch. After a careful process of gradually cutting Acana in with Ashe's usual food, she is now on Acana only, and she is GREAT!!! No more "irritable Bowel Disease" symptoms, and her stools have returned to normal. She no longer exhibits an urgency to go, and life is wonderful again!! Thank you Acana for making a really great product!! By the way, Ashe loves the taste also!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by kudnut Been feeding this for years
Have been feeding this for 4 years to my diverse pack of 5 dogs. They all love it and have very good stools. Have a giant breed with allergies and this food along with frequent bathing has cured his skin issues. Not a single outbreak in four years.
Love this company and will always feed this brand. It's hard to know who to trust these days but I do trust Champion for their high quality standards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by maizedog fabulous food!!!
Recently switched over my 2 dogs to Acana, they were on Taste of the Wild. But I was never overly impressed with TOTW. I value the accountability and freshness of the ingredient sources that Champion uses. I did quite a bit of research before switching. One of my dogs is a 14 yr old German shepard, and is becoming quite delicate in her old age. The other is a rott/border collie mix and I can only hope he will be with us as long. I feel it is important to feed them the best food possible

It passes my two criteria for dog food: 1) My dogs devour it, and 2) They produce a high quality stool later. Firm and only slightly smelly.
Try it yourself. Feed you dog cheap food and wait for the inevitable stinky aftermath. Garbage in, garbage out.

We had fed Orijen (from same company that makes Acana) before, but were having trouble finding it locally. So Chewy.com's quick, no shipping charge delivery of Acana is a blessing!
Acana comes from a Canadian company that does not source in China; certain ingredients are sourced in Europe. It features real, organic, meat and fish. Take a look at the ingredient list -- you'll see why we like it!

We have three dogs, a 13 year old Rat Terrier, a 12 year old Rat Terrier, and a 7 year old English Bulldog and they have never all loved (and I mean LOVED) a food until now. Not only do they all love it but they are more energetic, their coats are beautiful and they are happy!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mamallama the best for my small dog
A 15 lb bag last me several months and really cost less then the cheap products full of fillers and unhealthy ingredients. My little 7 lb dog loves this food and she does not gain excess weight on it. I eat healthy food, it is important to me that my dog has the same option.
Your service was fast and shipping reasonable.
Good food for loved pets. Thank you

by My4Furbabies Top Shelf Dog Food ACANA
Can not say enough about ACANA dog foods! There really is no better. They the best ingredients farm raised chickens, free range, Organic and veggies too! We were feeding raw food diet to our four dogs but that was messy and expensive so we changed to what we think is the best dog food, grain free available ACANA. That is pretty expensive as well so after about a year I looked around for a Grain Free Alaskan Fish diet and found Hi-Tek. I did not like what they do with other meats at all when I read about it, but with the fish I feel a lot safer. I would buy the Acana Fish but it's even more pricey. So, we buy a bag of each every month 1/2 and mix them. We feel between the excellent Acana and the Hi-Tek Fish we are doing good by feeding our dogs very well. This combo works for us and they love it. To keep their weight down we buy fresh frozen unsalted green beans and cook them up and put a few on their dry food, they love their green beans and we can cut back a little on the dry food to allow for treats. The green beans was recommended by our Vet for our one dog who was over his weight a bit and was having knee issues. He lost the weight and is doing great, running around and is completely normal now :)
