Outback Kangaroo Feast is a bit expensive but it contains protein that is hormone free. My dogs love it but I noticed that they are hopping a little more. (just kidding)

This doesn't seem to be a dehydrated food. It's more like ground up dry food. It's no different than putting dry food in a blender. I was expecting it would mix up into a soft paste-like food, but it's more like soggy Grape Nuts. It smells like someone just mowed the lawn, and none of my three dogs would go near it. I was hoping to find some relief for my allergy-ridden pooches, but this just wasn't the ticket. Might be okay if you have dogs who don't have good sniffers.

by Heidi9283 Great for dogs with food allergies
My german shepherd loves this food! He suffers from 8 environmental allergies and sees a dermatologist for allergy shots weekly. She recommended either venison or kangaroo for him. After looking high and low for kangaroo, we found this brand and he absolutely loves it. We add some vegetables like brussel sprouts or spinach to it to help fill him up.

My Shitz Tsu has stopped scratching since starting on this food. He is a picky eater but never leaves this food in the bowl

Rated 4 out of 5 by pitbullmomx3 Good alternative to frozen raw
as a microbiologist I don't agree with feeding raw food as there is no scientific studies to suggest the benefits outweigh the risks so when my puppy needed to go on kangaroo based food to determine if she had food allergies I searched and searched for a canned kangaroo to supplement her dry kibble. I was unable to find any canned kangaroo, but did find this dehydrated raw. The dehydration alleviates some of the risk that frozen or fresh raw has (salmonella, e. coli etc.) so I was more comfortable feeding this to the pups. Unfortunately my allergic pup didn't really care for the tast and would only eat it if she was really hungry, but my boys both liked it and will eat it dry or rehydrated. It does seem to be a good product though, good quality ingredients and excellent for sensitive dogs, but picky eaters may not like it.

I've only fed my 3 year old dachshund the food for 3 weeks. Hoping to aleviate some of her allergies. A litte pricey and concerned that it isn't processed in the USA.

Not that great.. Looks like sand and my dog is not crazy about it. A shame because she needs kangaroo for her allergies.

My puppies had suffered with diarrhea since they were little (now 8 months old) with no obvious cause. My vet suggested feeding them only kangaroo. Since they have been on this diet, they have been fine. Great product!!!
