Rated 5 out of 5 by TheBudster Annamaet grain free probably the best of the Best
There are lots of Grain Free dog foods on the market and that is the way to go for your dogs health. They are not meant to eat corn or other grains. In the wild they would make a "kill" eat the intestines, which are undigested vegetables and fruits. They then eat the meat of the animal. Annamaet does not advertise, but they also use 'chelated' minerals meaning they are more readily absorbed. I don't think there is a better food than Annamaet grain free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by greyresq My galgo loves this food!
After getting a recommendation from my local pet & feed store that other sighthound/greyhound owners were feeding this to their dogs, and having read excellent reviews from several dog food sites about Annamaet, I was sold on wanting to try this. After my galgo pretty much rejected a couple other brands I tried when first adopting him, he scarfed the Salcha down and licked his bowl afterwards! Oh...his poo looks great too!

I have raised my boxer on Annamaet since he was a puppy. He is a strong and healthy two year old now but has always had dry flakey skin and sometimes his eyes appeared irritated. I came across an Annamaet dealer at a local rescue event and discovered the grain free option. I thought it was worth a try, maybe he was suffering from food allergies. Not even two weeks into the new food and the dry flakey skin is significantly improved and his eyes are no longer reddened at times. Chewy.com has the best prices (I did my research) and I took advantage of the auto ship option. The shipment was fast, packaging was secure, and its convenient to have the dog food automatically delivered to my front door. I had high expectations and was not let down!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimster Our dog loves it, plus it's so nutritious
I'll admit I have become a dog food snob! Our new to us shepherd/lab/St. Bernanrd mix wasn't in such great shape when he got to us. A trip to a neighborhood groomer turned us on to this product. I love the fact that it's small business produced and locally made in small batches. Our guy loves it (surprisingly he turns his nose up at treats and other typically yummy dog goodies) He's put on weight and muscle, his coat is so nice and shiny, plus I feel good about giving him a product that is filled with real meat, vegetables, and vitamins and minerals that is without fillers and non-nutritious ingredients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by onyx great brand!
My dog LOVES this food so much. I feed her rotation, so she gets a bag of food set in front of her every night and she chooses which she wants (by pawing at the bag). More often than not, she will pick this food.
I'm really happy with it too- her coat is great, muscle mass is great, eyes and ears are clear and health, and her teeth don't get a lot of tartar.
Overall, Annamaet has a customer for life at my house and I would recommend this brand to anybody!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fern2000 No More Scooting!
Read the ingredient panel on the bag and you will soon know why this is a wise choice. Poutry based, whheat free, prebiotics including fruits and vegetables. My little dog had suffered from chronic scooting until we switched to this!

by Laszilolo Annamaet salcha is well digested by our three dogs.
This food was recommended by the breeder who we acquired our 4 1/2 month old vizsla from. My vet reviewed the ingredients to be sure it contained the proper nutrients for a puppy and he said it does. Now we also feed it to our 13 year old Belgian Shepard and our 10 year old vizsla. It is very important to us that the food we feed our dogs is made in the USA. congratulation to Chewy for offering such high quality dog foods! Thank you. Love, Max, Duke and Laszlo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blackwell This product is outstanding for large working dogs
I've had problems keeping weight on my 2 year old 75 lb.Chocolate Lab named Zeke. He is a very active hunting dog who also has a sensitive stomach and other high end kibbles caused digestive distress. We went with a dehydrated food that was expensive and needed preparation. I fed him twice the suggested amount and still could not keep his weight stabilized. No problem with this food. 4.5 cops a day and all is well.
