by EMP0825 Heart Murmur
I recently went to the vet and discovered that my senior dog has a heart murmur, with early stages of heart disease. One of the symptoms is that she wakes up in the middle of the night coughing due to her irregular heart rate/valve flow. The product claims to help with "heart rhythm." While I don't know if this is the product or just mere coincidence, she has now been sleeping throughout the night and has been taking it for about two weeks now. There have been no other changes to her diet. While I'm not endorsing this as being a cure to anything, there is a noticeable difference in that her symptom has ceased. I'd be curious to see if this happens with anyone else. I will definitely be purchasing this product again.

I gave this f product five stars, but I have not used it long enough to really make an appropriate assessment.
Having said that, my nearly 17 year old Greyhound, Husky, Shepherd lab multi-mix just jumped up onto the bed within a half hour of taking this supplement. Granted I give my dogs organic food, supplemented with all of the right spices (turmeric, ginger, etc.) But, I think this Ark Naturals Gray Muzzle treat plus the kelp, nutritional yeast, etc. puts a spring in the old girl's step.
I will write an update and see how things go after a month on this product.
Since this is not the only product that I give it is hard to say what helps her. Perhaps it is a combination of factors. However, this product does have some important ingredients to bolster cardiac health, such as taurine and hawthorne berry.
I hope I can continue to rate it 5 stars, which would be a plus for me and my senior gal as well as Ark Naturals and Chewy!!

I have a little dog and for some reason he has a really hard time chewing these treats. They seem to be very hard and chewy and he doesn't really like them. He eats them because they're treats but not because he really enjoys them.

Yes, this may be the answer for a treat for your puppy (ours is 15 years old) with a heart condition IF you keep the treats away from other rewards. They are pretty sticky and VERY small, and will bond to any other soft treat and form a pasty goo on such rewards. Our regular soft-treat jar has become a mess as a result, but both of our dogs like the treat's flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jillian13 Great for dogs being treated for heartworms.
I recently inherited my father's Chocolate Lab after his passing. Unfortunately, during his illness, Sally acquired heartworms. We decided to treat her for the worms. Since it is an expensive process, we wanted to make sure we were doing everything we could to help her. These treats are super delicious. She loves them & I have no issue trying to give them to her. She is now heartworm free and has some spunk back into her 9 year old self.

I found this on Chewy. My peke has a heart problem and didn't want to deprive her of bedtime treats. The treats I was giving her before loaded with salt. She enjoys these and we're both happy.
