Rated 2 out of 5 by RottweilerMom Bungee BUT Still Pulls
I have a Rottie & I am in a wheelchair & my parents have major shoulder problems. I thought this leash would help us. All it does is act like a bungee cord & when the dog pulls, they spring back or you spring forward. It does help slightly with not pulling your shoulder out of the socket but it doesn't really help. Also, it reinforces the dogs pulling and makes them pull more and harder! I would definitely NOT recommend this product or similar ones!

this doesn't keep you dog from pulling...and I guess that is what I was trying to do. Its very good quality, don't get me wrong. If you have a "good" dog that doesn't pull, then I like it. I have dogs that have to stop and smell EVERYTHING. When it's time for me to pull them...the cord just pulls...and not the dogs. They stay put...I go forward with the elastic type bungee cord...but you really have to pull to get the dog to come. Yes,I agree it's the dog..but I had to go back to my cheapo Target leash. It works better.

My rescue dog is great. But she was never taught to heel. With a harness collar and the low impact leash I can walk her.

This is a great lead and is very well made. All components are durable and of quality construction. The handles are very comfortable in the hand and I love the fact that these leads are easily used as components for other walking systems.
We ordered the size up because the website recommended doing so for a "very strong" dog. Not necessary unless you are trying to train Cujo.
Otherwise, great lead for teaching your pup to walk aside and not drift. When used with a body harness, it eliminates any type of neck strain or injury.
