Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Puppy Food! Let me just begin by saying my puppies finally have solid stools! I have two Siberian Husky puppies. Their breeder was feeding them Earthborn, so we continued with that. While it worked for my small breed dogs, it kept causing runny stools in our Huskies. After ruling out bacterial infections, and other medical issues, I decided to switch their food. This has made all the difference in the world! They finally have solid stools and are no longer having accidents in their crates during the day. Their coats are healthier, and I am noticing that they no longer have flaky skin. I decided on this food because of its limited ingredients. I was considering going RAW, but wanted to try kibble one last time since I have five dogs and kibble is a little easier with picky ones. This food has just the ingredients they need, and none that they don't. I highly recommend this for anyone who has a dog with food sensitivities or GI issues. December 31, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by I'm going to keep this short and sweet My dog loved the food, but it did nothing for the super bad gas he has. April 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very satisfied Two of our dogs have had digestive issues, one was on the canned, this one is on the puppy dry. Our older dog was able to be with us an extra 9 months, and our puppy is doing so much better. We would have to drive 90 miles to buy the food, ordering it from Chewy it was delivered right to the door, and was actually cheaper than the store. April 18, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product! Two months ago we brought our baby basset hound home from the breeder. We continued to feed her the premium food that the breeder recommended. It wasn't long before it became apparent that there was something wrong with Gracie. Her belly was always distended (much more than a puppy pot belly). She consistently had loose stools. Most alarming, her water intake was obviously excessive. Our vet had me keep 24 hour water intake records on 3 separate days. To our dismay, her intake was nearly 4 times the normal intake for her size. Needless to say, we were worried about what this meant, and were also upset that house breaking was nearly impossible because she ALWAYS had a full bladder. The vet wanted to do further testing, as polydipsia can be a symptom of other diseases. I decided to try switching her diet to one that just had basic ingredients and all of the nutrients a growing puppy required. We started Gracie on Blue Buffalo Basics dry and canned puppy food. The change was instantaneous. Her stools are now firm and her bloated little belly has shrunk down to a normal roley poley puppy sized tummy. Most importantly, her water consumption has become normal. The vet congratulated us on trying the new diet and said that further testing would not be necessary. We are making progress on the housebreaking now. I highly recommend Blue Buffalo Basics puppy food for dogs with digestive problems! August 27, 2015
