Blue Buffalo Blue Bits Tasty Chicken Natural Soft-Moist Training Dog Treats
A good "medium value" treat
I've always liked the Blue Buffalo products for my pets, so decided to try their Blue Bits soft training treats. My dog enjoys clicker training, and I break the little heart shapes in half to use as clicker treats. He will choose these over other tid-bits often enough that I've begun to use them for a somewhat higher-value treat. They don't reach the reward level of something like squeezy-cheese or a lick of jarred baby food, but they're great for the more special moments (and a lot less messy).
They're a bit on the pricey side, so it's nice to be able to reserve them for the medium-value training moments. You know what it's like, when you've been working on something slightly more complicated, and the dog shows you that he's finally taken the understanding to a deeper level? "Jackpot!", and the Blue Bits fit the bill for "lightbulb moment" reward.
I have recommended these to friends, since trying them, for dogs who are not really "food motivated", and several people have reported back that the Blue Bits are being accepted by dogs who normally aren't that interested in treats.
If you're looking for a slightly higher-value training treat that are easy to carry around and your dog will have fun working for, give Blue Bits a try.

My boxer puppy jumps for joy when I take these treats out! He really loves the taste and they are very helpful in training him. I have always been pleased with Blue Buffalo products and will continue to shop with them.

These are small treats great for small dogs. They love them and always want more.

my dog's favorite
My 9 pound pooch is enthusiastic about food but not crazy about most treats. The blue bits get her jumping and dancing almost as much as smoked salmon does.

These treats are perfect. They are soft enough to break apart and easy for puppy's little teeth. She knows when she's getting a tasty treat! They have been very helpful with training as well...

had to feed mat least 4 at atime, and they are way over-priced!

My puppy loves these chewy treats.
These are her very favorite rewards for good behavior. Just the right size for a cocker spaniel puppy.
I like the fact that they are also healthy for her. Cockers are prone to allergies so maybe they will help her avoid the congestion that always plagued my other cocker spaniel.

Right size, right taste
Most treats are either too big for training or too brittle to cut into smaller pieces. These are solid enough that I can cut them in half and they are the perfect low calorie, bite-size, easy to handle treat you'd want for training. I've tried lots of different treats from other top brands and they aren't quite right for training. These are now my go-to training treat.
