My wife and I have had at least two mini dachshunds in the house for going on 25 years, the current pair are our 4th and 5th. Always used another brand of dry food and as they grew older the vet suggested one of his brands to add as a can product. I know I'm strange because I look at their food and judge it by the question "would I eat that if I had too"?
Both the Blue Buffalo small breed senior and now the Blue Hearty Beef ( chicken also) Stew are great. The little one's love it, there weight and health strong. Even occasionally using a can of the old food now gets us looks like "what's this stuff"? They like both and that pleases us.

The meat in the cans looks gray and drab and doesn't smell fresh at all. I will be asking for a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mmm47 Quality ingredients that our Pugs deserve!
I had a serious conversation with Bob and Lucy just the other day about the food we buy from chewy.com - they both agree the quality is unsurpassed!
Bob loves the chunky texture of the beef, while Lucy is particularly biased to the wonderful (as she put it) aroma of the "Blue Buffalo Blue's Hearty Beef Stew Grain Free Canned Dog Food."
For those of you that are troubled that I have conversations with my Pugs......don't worry, they only talk to me - no one else. :)

Every dog in my family loves this food except my dog. He eats the toy bread blue buffalo dry. But I still cook chicken to add in. I will continue to look for a wet food he will eat. And let everyone know what on earth a picky, picky little dog will eat. My picky one is very healthy on the dry blue and is 15 years old! Did I mention he is picky?

Spot, my beagle/bassett/??? rescue, is a very picky eater. When she doesn't like what is put in her bowl, she would rather go and chew on sticks. Sometimes I have been known to bribe her with a scrambled egg just to get her to eat her dog food. As of today, she has 3 foods that I trust to give her the nutrients she needs and that she will eat: 1)Blue Buffalo Blue's Hearty Beef Stew Canned Dog Food AND 2) Merrick's southern comfort AND merrick's wing a ling. Of course, I sometimes try something new (has to be nutritious).

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyDobie Blue Buffalo brand is our choice and our dog's choice.
Just got a 90 lb. Doberman. We were told Dobermans have sensitive stomachs but thought that was exaggeration. Found out the hard way it's true. Also she didn't like food from previous owner and wouldn't eat it. Tried several brands. Another Doberman owner suggested Blue Buffalo. Success! No more stress for our baby. I celebrated health results and she only celebrated final delicious decision.

by JimTheRunner Dogs really like it
One of my dogs was not doing well with the cheaper dog foods. So, I went to higher quality and Blue Buffalo seems to be about as good as you can get. My one dog with the problems now is having nice solid stools, plus he loves the food. The other dog likes everything. I also am using another brand too. Both are top quality.

Purchased a case and more than half the cans were so severly dented I had to throw them away. I would say there is a problem with QC in Blue Buffalo's Factory...
