Blue Buffalo Lamb recipe is perfect for me
My dog started eating this because he needed a lamb based food due to allergies. Any other type of food makes him vomit blood. Its awful. Luckily Blue Buffalo is popular enough that we can always find it in every city we move to, and now with Chewy we don't even have to worry about that. Recently I have heard that Blue Buffalo supposedly does not clean their equipment between runs of lamb and chicken or fish based foods, and receive flak from consumers for this due to the fact that people like myself, who have pets with allergies, could be adversely affected. I certainly do not excuse that policy, but I have been feeding my dog, with severe allergies, this food for four years with no issues. I would like to find out Blue Buffalo decided to do the right thing and tighten up their cross contamination standards, but I haven't heard that yet, and that is why this food gets four instead of five stars.

Excellent Product
Best quality dog food and my dog loves it. Her breed is sensitive to foods and I've never had an issue with Blue Buffalo Lamb and Brown Rice.

Great food!
I bought this food after doing a lot of research. My dog had stomach "issues" every other week for a bit, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Once I switched him to Blue Buffalo's lamb and rice, he's had NO stomach issues. (I also only feed him gluten-free snacks). This food was a life saver.

Both Labs are doing great on this food!
My 11 yr old and 1 yr old Yellow labs were on Halo for the past year. I was pleased with the food, however our 1 yr old is a bit finicky and stopped eating the Halo. So after a lot of research I switched to Blue Buffalo Lamb & Brown Rice. There was no upset belly's when transioning the food into their daily diet. They eat it well, however the 1 yr old isn't diving into it the same as she was when I first introduced her. Perhaps I will be better off rotating flavors from Lamb & Rice to Chicken to Fish. This may keep the flavors exciting for her!
