Rated 3 out of 5 by Well made... This toy is very well made and sturdy. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because it is simply too easy for my boy. He's able to open it within minutes of handing it to him. I wish it provided him with longer playtime but he's too smart. May 9, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's okay... but The two areas where the treats come out have four plastic 'flaps' that prevent the treats from just falling out.. however this makes it really difficult for the pup to get the treats out. I had to cut two off just to make it less frustrating. He would just bring me the toy after a while of not getting anything out and drop it at my feet and walk away... :) Since I've made the cuts he can get a treat out but not easily. May 3, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product Our Boxer/Pit mix does everything with gusto, including eating her food. We bought this toy to force her to slow down. We had tried other items designed to slow down speedy eaters but nothing worked until we purchased this toy. I highly recommend checking if the rubber prongs need to be trimmed back before giving this to your dog. At first, none of our kibble was getting through and it was frustrating until we discovered the issue. Once we trimmed back the rubber a bit, our dog figured it out (can't just roll it like a regular ball due to the shape) and she now eats at a safe pace. I have not had any durability issues with this product and should the item break, I would buy another. February 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great idea, but not sturdy enough! My dog loves this Kibble Nibble. It makes mealtimes fun and keeps him occupied for 20-30 minutes even. I also like that it is customizable as to how large the openings are. Unfortunately, the rubbery part on the outside has been easily torn. Our (58 lb.) dog has playfully bit the Kibble Nibble and picked it up occasionally in his mouth so there are several chunks missing form the rubber. I hope that it doesn't break soon! I wish that it was made of metal! Also, our dog often unscrews the toy while using it. I pick it up about 2 times per meal/time used and screw it on tightly. If I don't do this, he is able to unscrew the toy to the point of it opening up all the way and then eating what's inside all at 1 time. February 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by durable, favorite of 3 big dogs. Bought one of these several years ago. Dog loved it. His successor, also a larger dog loves it as well. it is still in good shape. Bought one for son's dog since he loved playing with ours. Good for keeping dog occupied while home alone. February 27, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't hold up Wasn't impressed by this product, my GSD puppy has figured out how to open it so it doesn't work in slowing down his eating. February 23, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great concept for a real dog I bought this for my prissy little Shih Tzu as recommended by my Vet to slow her down at meals and help her lose weight by working for her meal. I'm the one working to shake her prescription kibble (the only thing she isn't allergic to) out of the ball while she chases after it as it invariably bounces under the couch or worse yet, live Christmas tree... giving me more exercise than her to then get it from under the couch or TV or whatever. I'm sure it must work better for a dog who will stoop low enough to play with a ball. It has slowed her down because she has to wait for me to retrieve the lost pieces. I cut a small amount off the prongs so her kibble would eventually shake out. I love that it screws together easily and can be washed after each meal. December 3, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for my dog Had trouble getting the treats out. Would probably be better for him if it were round instead of oblong. He won't play with it. Bought him another round shaped nibble toy & he loves it. January 27, 2016
