Canine Caviar 95% Duck & Sweet Potato Grain-Free Canned Dog Food Customer Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Four Paws up for this canned food! My favorite use for this is to use a cake decorator bag, squeeze half a can into a Kong, add some Zuke's treats and then freeze the Kong over night! My Lab goes INSANE for this! And the best part is that now I can share the can with our newly rescued cat! I love it that they can both eat the same canned food because it's just meat and not a lot of awful other stuff! Rated 5 out of 5 by No more worrying if they eat each others food This food is fabulous. Both cats and dogs love it and it is healthy healthy healthy for them with no glutes, or junk. Definitely the way you make it at home if you had the time and did not clean constantly...... February 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for one feeding. This food is incredible as far as quality goes and if you use up the can in one serving for multiple pets or large ones, you will probably be fine. I served it the first time a few days ago and my 3 cats loved it. The problem was when I got the remainder half can out of the fridge for their dinner. If you nuke it even to bring it to room temperature, it becomes a muddy mess. None of my cats would eat it. I will continue to use up the case on their one serving, but because I will lose money by throwing out the remainder, will not buy again. March 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Helps to get my dog to eat more of his regular food. My Fourche Terrier has IBS. Sometime he doesn't want to eat. He also needs to eat just before going to bed, if he goes too long without eating he will throw up in the morning. Then he doesn't want to eat at all. I mix this in with his dry Canine Caviar and he eats it more readily. When he is happy, I am happy. Yes I would recommend this canned Canine Caviar. May 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great healthy dog food! My Golden Retriever loves this food. I mix half the can in with his limited ingredient dry food twice a day. It's important to keep the leftovers in a sealed container, otherwise it dries out and gets nasty. April 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A company with a conscience I buy from this company whenever I need dog food because I know they treat the animals humanely at the farm. They don't give them unnecessary antibiotics and are not factory farmed. I started a foster poodle who has kidney issues on this an she loves it. Add a little hot water and she has a nice warm meal. The company told me it's not a complete meal on its own, so you should add vitamins to it. But the protein is only 9% which is great for kidney issues. Would definitly recommend. November 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best dog food ever! Our 4 year old shihtzu has been diagnosed with allergies after months of severe itching, scratching and licking following the Prescription Diet our vet put her on for a UTI. It was horrible to the point of needing a prednisone shot and medication. The Hill's Prescription diet was absolutely terrible with corn and other ingredients we found out we're NOT good for her that she was allergic to. Horses and Hounds Agway in Granby CT recommended the canine caviar because of the limited ingredient list and excellent source of protein. We saw miraculous results with this food and duck was not one of the foods she was allergic to. Since then we have had her holistically treated for the foods she is allergic to as well. We ordered this canned canine cavier from BEST price on the market! The average price in stores runs $2.99 to $3.50 per can. The $3.50 price is what I have been getting from vendors. I will be getting all my dog food from in the future! More importantly, if you reach their minimum order requirement which I did, free shipping and the order was received within a couple of days. We are thoroughly happy with this food and company selling it! Thank you!! November 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by He loves it! My dog has severe food allergies and can only eat a limited number of meat found in pet food (duck, lamb, buffalo, pheasant) and his diet is very restricted. It's hard to find anything with ingredients he can eat when you add that he can't eat potatoes. He loves this food! I love it because it has such limited ingredients and I know he can eat it, but he loves the flavor. I had to switch from another brand of food that switched its formula recently and added too many fillers (he refused to eat the stuff when they did and it left him hungry). I'm very pleased with this! September 22, 2014
