Rated 4 out of 5 by Mary50 Our picky dog loves it! Recently we found out that our 115 lb. Akita is allergic to just about all kinds of food &, in addition, he's a very picky eater. This product is on his very short list of approved foods & he loves it! He gobbled it down the first time & has been looking forward to it ever since. Since there's no filler in it, he seems to be pooping a lot less & I did see a comment that someone had to add fiber to their dog's diet but our guy seems to be fine so far. March 16, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maltipoo Venison Makes a Great Topper My dog prefers this to the Canine Caviar Canned Duck. This venison product also smells much better. It kinda smells like beef, actually, and is not as overpowering as the canned duck. This product is for supplemental feeding so I mix it with the corresponding kibble from Canine Caviar and she will eat much more of the Venison/Wilderness combo than the Duck/Open Sky when we rotate. There is no difficulty transitioning between the products and her stools are solid and near odorless on this product. We have tried other canned foods as well and she much prefers this brand to the others. She also prefers this to Fresh Pet, which I always had to top with a liver topper (yes, I'm trained). All the cans we received from Chewy were in fine shape. No dented cans here and well packaged. The only reservation I have of this product is that it is canned by Evangers under private label (obviously, with Canine Caviar being a boutique brand, they don't actually manufacture their own food). Evangers also has their own canned game meats, but just at a cheaper price, which makes me wonder if it pretty much the same product with just a different label. September 2, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Concho pretty good Dogs love this, they love everything, I know that this food is made by Evangers, worst feature, but it seems okay, smells okay and does not make the dogs ill, so I guess we like it. January 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by RayC Specialty Product in Quantity! One of our beagles has IBD and needs to be on single protein, non-poultry based food. After she rejected the prescription food suggested by the Vet we talked with a canine nutritionist who recommended Canine Caviar. Issue - It's expensive and only carried local in very limited quantities. But she ate it!! A friend recommended Chewy's and now we are simply waiting to see how long a case lasts in order to get on a routine shipping plan. BTW, Chewy's is almost $1.00 less per can...which isn't anything to sneeze at!!! The product that arrived from Chewy's was clearly well packed, the cans were in good shape and looked new. The shipping took 3 days!!! Good to know we can get this in quantity and quality!!! November 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by NKR1 Addicting I don't know what venison they're using for the wet and dry formulas but keep it going!! My allergy prone, GI sensitive AmStaffs get bored very easily (i.e. What? We already had BBQ rib topping for lunch today...then they just stare at it). With the robust, thyme smelling venison wet, it's chow time, anytime. They know I sneak pills in there, too, but down the hatch it goes anyway. Probably because it's supplementary and doesn't contain all the vitamins/minerals that change any good tasting food. The other proteins is a miss but this one is crazy good, a must try! December 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Swissymom allergies None of my dogs have any allergies, but I thought I would give this food a try. OMG, it is wonderful. I have two Swissy's and an Irish Wolfhound, and they love it. Their coats all look shinier too. December 3, 2015
