Coolaroo Steel-Framed Nutmeg Elevated Pet Bed
Great bed... but apparently I need an XL...
This is a great quality bed. Sturdy, with a tough material to handle both weight and nails. However, I have an 85lb Great Pyr who is way too big for this bed. Just so you know... if you have a large breed, you may want something larger than Coolaroo has to offer. The large is perfect for a Lab, German Shep or Rotty, but perhaps not suitable for the giant breeds.

They are in front of a window. The dogs each picked out one and they love them! They can watch the neighborhood!

excellent product, great customer service
My collie loves this bed--she kept trying to get into it before I even had it put together (which was easy to do with no help and no tools). My only problem is that she prefers staying outdoors on her Coolaroo instead of being in the house with me!!-but of course that is my problem, and not hers; she is quite happy. And really, if she's happy, so am I. Large bed has excellent quality, is big and sturdy enough for 70 lb collie. And even though the fabric is described as "knitted," the material is tightly woven so dog nails do not tear through or get caught. It also does not freeze and become stiff. The bed is well worth what I thought was a very reasonable price.
Customer service has always been top notch. I am glad I found chewy.com

Finally, a dog bed our dog uses!
We wanted an elevated dog bed for use on our gravel side yard. Tanner loves to work on his tan, but has refused to go near other beds. He has decided this one is okay and loves to lounge on it! We also appreciate the air flow, since our desert temperatures can get quite high. A great product at a very reasonable price, also. Thanks again, Chewy.com!

Excellent Buy--strong, durable, comfortable
Got this for an obedience class to teach the "place" command and also to get my 78 lb. shepherd puppy off of the couch. Very successful on both. She loved it from day one and it has withstood enormous abuse--including numerous flying leaps #not recommended# in her eagerness to do the place command. It became slightly bent on one corner but didn't break. For six months, it was used for training as well as #with a large crate pad on it# a sleeping/lounging bed and it started to droop, so I put it outside and bought another one for indoors. Since she is not jumping on it anymore, I put a a Snoozer XL overstuffed sofa in "peat" on it. Looks great--like designer dog furniture.

Easy setup, sturdy, and dogs love it!
I put this together by myself in 10 minutes by doing one side at a time and ignoring the directions. I got the large size and my 65 lb rottie puppy and 28 lb mix fit on it without crowding each other. It's very sturdy and holds their combined weight nicely.

wish I had bought one sooner! Best invention ever!
Took about one day before my dogs figured out the beds, probably because the cats took them over from the get go. :) Don't know why I didn't think about them sooner, they are wonderful items. Thank you for an amazing price and amazing delivery service on the purchase of the dog beds. LR

Dogs like the Coolaroo bed
when it arrived we were not impressed, I just couldnt see how the wobbly frame and cover could possibly hold our big dogs WRONG! after assembly it holds even our largest 90+ lb lab mix without any issues and has been doing so for a couple of years now. We have 5 dogs total and they all like the Coolaroo outdoor bed. I am now ordering a replacement cover. However not because our other cover is totally shot but because I am changing from the green to the nutmeg to better match my outdoor furniture.
