Evanger's Grain-Free Hand Packed Hunk of Beef Canned Dog Food
Best canned beef
This is a true beef. When you open the can you do not see a pate. You see an actual pot roast looking meat that separates with a fork just as you would have on a holiday. It is cooked its own juices with no additives and is gluten and grain free. This is the best canned beef I have ever seen. I suggest you try one! Open the can put the entire chunk in the dish & shred it with a fork. It reminds me of corned beef on St. Patrick's Day. You cannot get better than this product!

I am fostering a dog who is about the finickiest dog I know! Her former owner sent her belongings to me and in it were a few cans of the beef food. I shrugged....alright, lets give it a whirl! Well, I didnt even have the bowl on the ground, and it was GONE!!!!!!!!!! licked clean! and she doesnt finish ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! Just ordered her a case!

Looks like a hunk of cooked roast beef
My Havanese is normally VERY fussy. I have had a very hard time finding things he likes to eat in the past. He likes many of Evanger's canned dog foods, but he LOVES the Hunk of Beef.

overall good, found some cans have mewt with something black on it?The dogs didn't kike it. Others looked ok. Suggest closer inspection of meat before
The aroma of the meet should smell a little better.
But my dogs like the chunkiness

My dog's love it and won't eat anything else. It is important to mix with dry dog food to get the vitamins they need!!!

A lifesaver for my senior anorexic dog!
Evanger's has transformed my dog's eating behavior. Now she looks forward to meals, and "Hunk of Beef" is one of her absolute favorites. Delicious, flavorful broth and nothing else but big chunks of 100% beef. Sometimes it looks like pot roast, other times it's more rare, and looks like you could slice it and make a roast-beef sandwich! The "black bits" another reviewer mentioned seem to me to just be the normal browned bits you get when roasting beef. It's never smelled funny to me. Occasionally, I'll open a can and it might look a little less appetizing but never inedible or rotten, and she gobbles it down just like every other one.
More slam-dunks: Pulled Beef, the Whole, Hand-Packed Chicken Thighs, and the Organic Cooked Chicken, (which is more of a pate, and kind of stinky, but she starts eating it before I can finish putting it in the bowl).
Now that she enjoys eating again, I've been able to introduce some (less expensive) Merrick's and Nature's Recipe canned food, but Evanger's is still the best, and highest quality, in my opinion.
