Rated 4 out of 5 by JennieRescuer 2 Paws Up for Chicken Thighs & Squishy Bones...but...
I have 2 rescue dogs. My rescued Shih Tzu is a former puppy mill mommy (even has a USDA tattoo on her tummy :-(...) & a now senior black lab. They eat a variety of food--a mix of dry/wet & sometimes topped w shredded cheese for a change. The first time I brought home Evanders Duck, Rabbit & Pheasant food from an actual local family dog food store they knew something special was coming. But...I saw something never seen before w the Evanders Chicken Thighs food. My senior dogs sit up straight, eyes popped out from just the box of cans on the floor before putting them away.
The black lab tried to pull a can out by knocking it over so I had to let them have some while I put groceries away. Got some dry food as a base for broth & dumped out the slightly weird looking chickeny concoction. The dogs would have high-pawed it if they didn't dive mouth first into the bowl. After they both sat in stunned silence with a "WHAT WAS THAT? look".
The price is a little high but it isn't an every day thing. My one human complaint was after I served all 5 cans, 2 cans contained 10% chicken meat & 90% broth & jiggly fat globs.
Maybe a $5 coupon (*wink wink*) would make me more inclined to add this to regular rotation of food.

This does contain whole chicken thighs, but the bones
are soft enough to break apart. I use as a mix in with
my dogs dry food.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Truffles In our opinion, this product is inferior to Evander Hunk of beef
We have been using Hunk of Beef as a topper for the Taste of the Wild kibble for several months, and recently ordered a case of Chicken thighs. We were not pleased with the product. Whole chicken thighs? Not really. Just pieces of chicken parts. Half of the cans were just gravy, and very large chunks of solidified fat. Loose stool resulted, even after the majority of the fat was removed. We donated the remaining product to a shelter. Chewy credited the purchase price back to our account. Great company.....great customer service. I see that some reviewed the chicken thighs 5 star, but it did not work for us.

Our 8 month old yorkie loves the chicken thighs and would eat a whole can in one setting if we would let him. It's a good thing to feed him when we have guests over for dinner because he eats the chicken verus begging for food from the guets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PROFW The best yet.
These chicken thighs seem of human quality - just meat and an excellent gravy in a heavily packed can, and very easy to serve. Even our fussiest dog didn't miss a meal of them.

Chicken thighs. That's it, nothing more. Fabulous quality. The dogs go nuts for it.

Our two year old red standard poodle has been eating Evanger's since she was a baby. She especially likes the packed chicken thighs, the roasted chicken drummet dinner, and the braised beef chunks with gravy. 1/4 can with 1 cup of Evanger's kibbles twice a day. And ordering with autoship from Chewy's is the best !!!
