Rated 5 out of 5 Great product and excellent price at Chewy.com!
I just ordered our 4th and 5th Safety Seat Support harnesses. We use them strictly for walking the dogs though - haven't ever used them in the car! I think the best feature of these harnesses is the ease of getting them off and on.
Instead of typical harness where the dog has to "step in", with this you put it over the head and then pull the two straps under the belly and snap into the buckles on the back. They get a lot of use at our house as the dogs go out multiple times every day with them on. They have all lasted several years before needing replacement, and these probably had to be replaced before their time as a puppy joined the family and chewed on the straps (naughty puppy but very cute, so - whatcha gonna do?).
Recommend this product to anyone frustrated with the step in harness and looking for a comfortable, inexpensive harness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lorie Covers chest with sturdy material and a soft fleece lining
After looking at other travel harnesses for my Standard Poodles. I decided to replace my worn out one with the same model from "Four Paws." My dogs are performance dogs so they travel a great deal. They also go on vacation with us. This harness covers the chest very well. The soft lining and the placement of the straps seem to make it comfortable for the dogs. We use an extension belt to connect it with the seat belt system. They wash and dry well. We have had them for five years and used them every day. The extension belt needs to be long enough for the dogs to move but short enough to keep them from flying around the car. The harnesses are easy to put on and take off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by tjalaine Probably good for some dogs, just not ours
This product seems very well made, but was a bit too snug on our large black lab, even on the largest settings. He also could not lay down with this on, so I probably wouldn't recommend this for very large dogs (ours is 102lbs). It would probably work well for smaller dogs, though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Guenivere Good quality but needs additional gear.
This is a good safety device, but it needs to have a short extender that allows the pet a bit more mobility. As it is, the pet is confined by attaching the harness directly to the seat belt which allows for no movement.

This Harness is great . My dog doesn't seem bothered by it and honestly keeps my dog in place while I'm driving . Fits her well . She's a 55 pound boxer . I was concerned because her chest size but it fits great ! So happy with my purchase from chewy .

Rated 3 out of 5 by Audhumla Nice Harness, not sized for Beagles
The size "small", for dogs 15-30 pounds, was MANY inches short of fitting around the girth of a 21 lb female beagle. Well-proportioned everywhere else, but if you have a large chested small dog, you will need to order up, and hope the neck can adjust small enough.

I can now take our dog with me in the car! She loves riding along and I havent been able to take her. This is wonderful! Love the padding and ease when hooking the seat belt in. Our dog is very comfortable with it on and is excited when I get it out. Im so happy to have found it. Its perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bassador Keeps dog in place
Our bassador has a habit of trying to jump seats constantly (most notably from the back into my lap in the front passenger seat), so we decided we really needed to invest in a car restraint for him. This one works quite well, and since he is already used to wearing harnesses, he likes it just fine for himself. The only downside is that there really is not much leeway for movement for the dog in the sense that they can get a little tangled in the seatbelt or frustrated if they are trying to circle to get comfy before they sit. At the same time, it is restricting their movement that makes this seat belt do what it does.
Our tip would be to purchase it, keep your pet safe, but let them get settled in the car before buckling them in.
