Awesome,absolutely does the job!
Amazingly easy to use!! I have a Bearded Collie, who has been in a full show cut her entire life. This rake makes combing a breeze, while reaching all the way down through her undercoat!....... and without pulling or hurting her!!

Perfect for Long Haired Cats
I'm using the long tooth on my Maine Coon and it has been great during his winter fur 'molting' period. I have to brush him at least once a day and it has done the job getting all the under fur so that he doesn't mat.

This product is OK!
I have Northern breed dog that shed and blow their coats. This product works OK for one of my dogs but I didn't notice it working as well as the double row under coat rake that gets more of the shedding out. It might work well for other breeds.

Finally- a product that lives up to its advertisement!
I have been using 3 other brushes in the past trying to remove the 2nd coat from my 2 golden retrievers with so-so results. I use this brush after my usual regimen and walla...more hair removed than had just been removed with the other brushes!
It's easier on my dogs and the time and results so much better. Yes, I recommend this product.

good for the price
I purchased this rake for short hair, it works just not like the furminator, I was trying to save and bought one of each, for the price it is not bad.

It really gets the under hairs!!
I used this on my lab and a golden retriever..
I got over a bag full of hair the first time I used it.
I have used many different brushes etc. over the years but have never has this success.
I highly recommend this product.

Not 'ideal for all coat types'
While this would probably be a good brush for long haired dogs it is not good for short or even medium length breeds. The teeth are way too far apart to be effective at doing anything other than providing a nice scratch for your pooch. Get a furminator instead.
