Fromm Four-Star Nutritionals Grain-Free Pork & Peas Recipe Dry Dog Food
You can trust Fromm Pet Food
Just started using Fromm 4 star grain free. Without question, best dog food I've seen. Both of my German Shepherds now have no issues with dull coat, digestion, or appetite issues.I researched the best dog food and Iâm so glad I found Fromm!
Unlike many other brands that are available through large retails chains, Fromm has made a commitment of only selling to independent pet stores.Fromm continues to work with veterinarians, biochemists, research specialists, and food production engineers to bring one of the best pet foods in the industry. They have a great track record, and have never been affected by a recall. Fromm continues to manufacture products in their own facility. I personally contacted Fromm Nutrition and Technical Services Specialist and she confirmed that Made from the freshest possible pet food ingredients, each formula is designed for all life stages: i.e. they are suitable for puppies, adults, and senior dogs and cats. They include no artificial or industrial preservatives and use meat that is antibiotic and hormone free.

They love the new flavor
My group can be picky. They have always loved the Fromm beef best of the grain free flavors. Now it seems they like this new flavor just as much.

Likes it better than the grain version
We have been Fromm consumers for 3 years, rotating between grain and grain free varieties. Both kibble sizes are small, the grain free is smaller. Most recently, we were feeding the pork/grain and switched to the pork/grain free. Our dog was MUCH more interested in the grain free variety and although she is always excited to eat, she continues to show more eagerness for this variety.

He loves it!
My Dog Bentley aka Big Stink loves this food so much that he not only inhales it when it's served, but once he's finished he looks around the bowl to see if he's missed any - just like a crack head! lol

May Cause Digestive Issues
I love Fromm grain-free foods and have been feeding them to my dogs for over a year; however, I'd never tried their pork formula. Since I always try to make sure my dogs get a variety of protein, I was excited to introduce pork into their diets. However, a day or two after I started feeding this to my German Shepard mix, Clementine, I noticed she had some light bleeding around her "bottom area."
At first, I thought she might have gotten a slight tear while using the bathroom (since this had happened once before). However, the bleeding persisted. Since the only recent change to her diet had been this food, I decided to stop feeding it to her just to see if this could be the culprit before having the vet take a look at her. Within two days, the bleeding appeared to have stopped. I assume introducing this new protein into her diet was the influencing factor, but I can't be certain. She'll be seeing the vet in a few days just to confirm everything is okay; however, I can't say that I'll be feeding this particular formula to my dogs again just to play it safe.
I'm still very happy with Fromm and will continue feeding their other formulas. I just wanted to put this out there for anyone who may experience the same issue.
