FURminator Curry Comb For Dogs
The furminator brush works very well.
We've been using the original furminator for years, but the dog didn't like that it seemed to pull his hair out more than brush it out. We got the brush and he loves it. We've pulled off enough hair to make a couple of more dogs.

I thought I would give this a shot for the price. My beagle Sherman goes into spurts every few months where all he does is itch. I've tried the oatmeal shampoos, changed his food, vitamins, itch spray, and a trip to the vet. Nothing worked. I bought this brush and VOILA! The itching and scratching seems to have sopped. This brush is AWESOME! It removed a lot of loose hair and seems to have gently massaged his back at the same time! It may be a coincidence, but I'm saying it was this little brush and I'm sticking to it! A MUST BUY! Thanks Chewy.com!

This comb is amazing!
I just bought this comb for my pug and it works great! When I first saw the size of the teeth, I was skeptical. But when I tried it, it picked up so much hair, I couldn't believe it. It works so much better than other brushes I have with actual wire bristles. And my dog actually seemed to like it, which is an added bonus. I absolutely recommend this product.

This curry comb is great!
I have used curry combs for years and this one really takes care of shedding! You would think it is too hard but it works wonderfully and the dogs don't notice a difference, if anything they like this one more!

I have four dogs, all different breeds and hair coats. I got this for my mastiff who has bad allergies and a coarse short hair coat so other brushes would irritate his already sensitive skin. It worked great on him. I also tried it on my jack russell chihuahua mix with a short hair coat, my pit bull/cattle dog mix who has a short but satin hair coat and my alaskan husky. It picked up hair on all of them! My husky is my service dog so I need to brush him regularly. The regular furminator blades are expensive and irritate his skin. Even though this has hard bristle it doesn't seem to bother the dogs. You can't beat the price!

Seems good for shorter coats
This didn't work to well on my pup's double coat, but I can see it working well for a shorter coat.

A really good inexpensive curry brush
Works really great on my vizsla and he does not mind it being used on him probably best on short haired dogs or cat definitely removes lots of dead hair instead of my couch for a low price

Prepare for furmageddon
A light piebald doxie + dark dapple doxie = constant fur trouble for our home, vehicle and clothes. This curry comb dislodges a frightening amount of our boys' excess hair, and is particularly effective on our piebald's softer coat (the worse shedding culprit). Both enjoy the massaging effect of the rubber teeth, even brushing against the grain, and it makes their short coats shine. With the rubber side grips, the top handle seems a bit pointless even for someone with small hands like me. To avoid a hairy clean-up after use, I suggest using it outdoors!
