by Kathy4503 Highly recommend the Furminator Curry Comb
I have a Lab and a Rottweiler. My lab has an extremely thick undercoat and sheds constantly. As I expected, the Furminator Curry Comb worked as well as the regular Furminator. My Rottie has a mild undercoat, mostly around the neck, she sheds but not as bad as my Lab.
I highly recommend the Furminator Curry Comb, it is compact and really gets the job done! Only one slight drawback is the size...anyone with a large hand would find it inconvenient to squeeze their fingers inside the band. Other than that, this is a convenient, take along curry comb....I take this one with me, and use my regular Furminator at home where I can really load up my outside deck with dog hair!

by GoldenLover1122 Works great, quality is poor
I've had this brush for about 4 months and used it 4-5 times on my golden retriever. When using it last i noticed that the rubber comb part is separating from the plastic base. There are little rubber 'feet' on the back of the comb that insert into the plastic backing to hold it in place. Nearly all of these had ripped off, making it impossible to repair the comb. With such little use i am surprised it fell apart so quickly. Hopefully i can get a free replacement and try it out again because the comb works really well on areas of short(er) hair.

by Lexie23 The most amazing brush!
I know this brush is not meant for dogs with thick undercoats but this brush gets the job done! I have a 4 yr old golden/chow mix and a 5 yr old pem corgi. They both shed like crazy. Both of my dogs did not like the furminator that is like a rake because it hurt their skin. This brush is not as rough on them. And you can't beat the price! Best invest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CKeffer Best curry comb ever....
We've tried many varieties of curry combs, wire and soft bristle. This is the only one both dogs like...well, the only one EITHER dog likes. As an added bonus, it gets the job done!
We have a Cane Corso and a Jack Russel/Fiest mix. Two types of coat...short hair, not really thick, and short hair but really thick around the shoulders and haunches. Neither dog protests the brush and we are able to get rid of all that loose hair before it hits the floor.

Use this outside! It really gets the loose hair out. Worked great for my dogs!

My mid-sized short haired buddy sheds SO much. I've tried just about every brush/comb out there, with little to no luck. Then I randomly saw this in a scroll by ad, and thought, "why not?" It collected gobs and gobs of loose fur. I was thinking I would have to buy an expensive vacuum to deal with all the fur, but now cause of this little tool I won't have to. Another reviewer mentioned they might stock up. I'm really tempted to, since this little brush/comb has worked so well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lola This brush is too stiff not at all flexible and my Frenchie doesn't like it.
This brush is not right the right brush for my Frenchie. It is too stiff and not at all flexible. My dog loves to be brushed but not with this, it hurts her. This brush may be a great choice for a dog with a thicker coat and less sensitive skin.

i use this on my cattle dog/pit mix and she loves it. i usually use the furminator first to brush out the under coat then curry her after with this to get all of the extra hair that is loose. i am noticing less hair throughout my hair after i use these together.
