Both of our dogs love these chew sticks and I am comfortable giving it to them because of the ingredients.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GBScoobs Great low-cal treat, long-lasting
My dog loves these, so I am glad that they take a few minutes for her to chew them!
It's nice to have found a low calorie treat for dogs in need of weight loss or maintenance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dina I've never seen my dog so protective over a treat
I have an 11 year old chihuahua who can't get enough of these. He's very picky with this treats and there's only a handful of tastes he enjoys. As soon as I mention brushing his teeth, he runs over to where I keep the bag of these dental chews and gets so excited, it's just the cutest thing. He quickly grabs it and gets so protective of his "candy" (that's what I call his treats), that he growls if I joke about taking it away. In 11 years I've never seen him do this to anything else. His breath smells MUCH better, and even though he's now missing a few teeth on each side, he has no issue whatsoever chewing these up. You won't be disappointed and neither will your little furbaby.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Yankee Good if you can afford them
My dogs love them. But, only 6 sticks in one 6.6 oz. pkg of large sticks, so one pkg lasts only 3 days if you give a large dog a treat morning and evening, after meals. Sticks are nearly impossible to break in two and very hard to saw, which makes them last when chewed but stops you from economizing by splitting them into smaller pieces. Price is just too high -- 82 cents per stick. Two sticks a day for a year is $607.12. All dog chews are priced exorbitantly high, which is a shame because some are needed for good health.

Not for all small dogs. these sticks are very hard. But they do the job well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lytlewren Loves them, but...
Finch, my labradoodle, has seizures and his meds make him think he is always hungry. I ordered these because they are supposed to promote a "full" feeling in the dog. He loves them, his teeth look great, and no vomiting (sensitive tummy due to meds) but he would eat the whole bad and still want more; so they don't make him feel full. If he'd seemed satisfied I'd have given 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DebDC So far so good!
My lab has a tendency to gain weight (don't they all) and these seem to be doing well for her. I used to give her Greenies but even the weight management ones didn't seem to make a difference. These don't upset her system either. I like that they are made in the USA too.
