Rated 5 out of 5 by JCfamily Hill Prescription Diet C/D-Good food for good dogs who have bladder, or digestion problems.
My vet prescribed HPD C/D for my dog after some potential bladder "crystals" were found because the dog was uncomfortable and clearly something was painful and wrong. Now that he is eating C/D exclusively, we are hoping the problem will clear up and he will live a long life with his family! Thank you, Hills.

I have a 13 yo standard doxie who was creating crystals . This food has removed the crystals from her urine and she eats it. The price is reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SwissyLover OK -- I am hooked on Chewy's!
No more realizing I have not reordered in the middle of the night --and with free shipping too!
I am delighted with the fast service and Chewy's doing the leg work of checking the Rx with my vet's directly. Now my big Greater Swiss Mountain dog can keep on his special canine urinary health Rx food and I can avoid more hassles. A much better bargain than ordering the food from my vet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gonzo Great for preventing bladder stones
We have used Prescription Diet c/d for several years now, and our Schnauzer has not had any further problems with his bladder stones since he has been on this food. I would absolutely recommend this food to anyone whose dog is having a similar problem.

by Captcal It's excellent!
My baby Rupert "miniature schnauzer" must stay on the special diet, I tried other brands but he wouldn't eat it without pouring chicken broth on it. I switched to Hills which is a better price and Rupert likes it just the way it is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HockeyMom26 Good for my dog, bad on the pocket book!
My vet has recommended this very expensive dog food for my Aussie, whom just had $1000 worth of surgery to remove gall stones. I am paying this for the health of my dog, but why is it so darn expensive? I hope that this will help her and not have to encounter any more expense due to dog food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sophie70 An excellent experience!
My dog has some urinary problems and can be a finicky eater. When my vet prescribed Hill 's Prescription Diet c/d Canine for Urinary Tract Health I was afraid she would not eat it. No worries, she eats both wet and dry formulas with no problem. Her urinary issues are in check. I am also very happy with the price and having it delivered to my home every few months. No delivery charges with $50+ total.

Rated 5 out of 5 by karmasmom helped Karma avoid a second surgery!
My sweet little yorkie mix has always had a history of urinary problems and she ended up with practically her whole bladder full of huge stones that had to be surgically removed. Following surgery her vet put her on a strict diet of Royal Canin food. After a few months of that food she again had an infection and a ton of struvite crystals in her urine. I was sure we were facing a second surgery and was dreading putting her through that again. The vet decided to switch her food to Science Diet to see if that would help. After a round of antibiotics and the new food for about a month, I am so happy to report the crystals are almost completely gone!!! Science Diet has proven to be a life-saver for us! It's expensive and special order, but the relief and peace of mind that it works is worth the cost!
