Rated 5 out of 5 by MGYD Good Product This is the second German Shepherd Puppy we tried starting on Blue and other "premium" foods that gave them horrible diarrhea. After a LOT of research we decided to go with Science Diet. The Puppy is Very happy and healthy and likes the kibble. Our Vet noticed the difference as well. February 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nate962 My Dog Loves This Food! The food is big enough for a large puppy where the dog will have to take more time to chew and eat the food. My dog had a problem with digestion on the past 3 food products, this was the first one where my dog could handle the food and digest it properly. November 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by EStoltze My puppy loves this food! I just wanted to take a moment to comment on how much my puppy enjoys this food. On top of that Mrchewy delivered the food in 1 day. I ordered it on Friday at noon and it was on my doorstep on Saturday at noon. AWESOME!!! Customer for life!!! April 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by NHwoodspup Switched from Iams Puppy Chow to Science Diet 5 months ago Our golden retriever puppy started out on Iams Puppy chow, but after a couple months being home started to have some digestive problems ("soft serve" poops and diarrhea). Chicken and rice with the kibble helped soothe his tummy, but was a temporary fix. We switched to Science Diet and have been very happy since and have had no issues. I like that it is a well-known brand with high recommendations from the vet. I also love the Chewy discount! June 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by rudysmom A real find for my finicky pup First of all I want to commend Chewy.com for their wonderful service, liberal return policy and the free shipping. I say this because I think I've bought no less than 10 different large breed puppy foods for our 9 month old Golden Retriever pup named Rudy. I've bought the high end Origen, Fromm, Blue Buffalo, Life's Abundance, to lower end Pro Plan, & even Pedigree. Even with the expensive brands, I have to doctor them up with my own home cooked chicken & veggies, or add some moist canned food with gravy. You get the idea. Yes, he's spoiled !! He eats it reluctantly, then turns his nose at it. He's a little underweight, and we're becoming concerned. Out of desperation, I read reviews of other fussy dogs, and heard that they accepted Science Diet large breed puppy willingly. I read the ingredients, and yes, it does contain corn which is controversial. But, Rudy eats it without me having to disguise the food. He's not the type of dog to inhale his food, but he eats it slowly, but surely and I feel so good that he's excited to eat his meal. I don't know what other ingredients are in this food that appeal to him, but whatever they are, they make Rudy happy. So I'll keep him on the large breed puppy until he's 1 year old, then will switch to the Adult formula. I hope he likes that as much as this formula. So if you're as frustrated as I was, please give this food a try. February 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by JeanSC Recommended by my Veterinarian I adopted two rescue Rottweiler puppies and didn't know what brand of food to buy for them. I read about many dog food products online and was so confused! I consulted with my daughter, who is a vet, and she recommended Science Diet Large Breed Puppy. The dogs love it and I feel confident they are getting the nutrition they need as growing puppies. November 17, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by DaneMamma A comparative study... I was feeding my adult and puppy Great Danes Nutro Natural Choice. This was recommended by my vet when I was comparing quality and prices at PetCo/PetSmart. Hill's was just too expensive at those locations. For the first year of my adult Dane's life, I did not know about Chewy.com. When I learned of the free shipping on orders over $49 and no tax, I did some serious digging. My vet and I sat down for a while and he feels very strongly about Hill's company. He told me that Hill's is leading research on large breed dogs and the formula for making the ideal food. As it turns out, Hill's comes in larger bag sizes for about the same price. So, that is plus number one. On top of that, it has less "fillers," so the serving size is smaller - plus number 2. And of course, Hill's comes highly recommended by my Vet - the biggest plus. So, after making the comparison between Hill's, Nutro and Diamond Naturals, I chose Hill's. November 21, 2014
