Pros: TONS of fish skins, great packaging, seemingly high quality ingredients.
Cons: My 7 year old golden retriever, whom I affectionately call my "garbage dog" because she eats everything in sight, thought these chews were meant for rolling on. I left her in the back yard with one of these, confident that she'd gobble it down, and when I let her back in I thought, "What is that ungodly smell?" Oh. It's my dog. The next morning when I was in the yard with her, I found the soggy, partially masticated entity that was the Honest Kitchen Catfish sitting, uneaten, in the grass. Two days later and she was still trying to roll in it. I finally threw it away.
It's weird because whenever I grill salmon I always give her the crispy skin left over and she inhales it without a second glance.
So I guess... if you have a dog that likes to roll in stuff - or doesn't, like mine - just keep a really sharp eye on him/her the first time you give out one of these. I really wish I had.
Otherwise these seem great! Now excuse me while I go rub peppermint oil under my nose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Katydid Great treat
My dog has special needs. She cannot open her mouth due to a shattered jaw. But she is still a dog and wants something to chew on. She can get to these. She enjoys holding them with her feet and eventually eating them. No other treat would meet her needs. Glad we tried them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OllieGoose My dog loves these!
The honest kitchen fish skins are now one of my dogs favorite treats! You do need to quickly look them over to make sure there is no cartilage or bone attached, but other than that it is a simple treat to give. They do smell very strongly of fish (as to be expected) so I like to give these outside in the grass! I will be buying this product again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ilovecairns My small dog is entertained for hours
My old cairn terrier returns to his puppy behavior with these treats. He loves to frolic around with them in his mouth. Beware, they are a little smelly but, as happy as they make him, I don't mind!

This is the best treat for my basset hound that is allergic to corn,wheat,chicken...etc....
After her breakfast, she gets a treat...She is in heaven..... Although a bit pricey, this treat is good for her and I will continue buying Beams. . I recommend this for pets with allergies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MajesticOcelot Well worth the trouble
My pup adores these treats and will dance around the kitchen when she sees me reach for the treat jar. I agree with the reviewers who say the treats are smelly and hard to cut, but in my experience, the odor doesn't linger, and a sturdy pair of utility shears will make short work of the cutting. I will freely admit these treats are a lot more work than a kibble or a bit of jerky, but for a single ingredient treat of such high quality and nutrition, they are hard to beat.

this fish stuff smells pretty bad, but my pup loves it. they have some pretty big pieces in the box so it would occupy him for a day or 2.

My four dachshunds LOVE their BEAMS! All I have to do to round them up from anywhere in the house is to say, "Do you want a BEAM?" They know what it is and they come running! This is a great, healthy treat!
