The Honest Kitchen Beams Pure Iceland Catfish Skin Sticks Dehydrated Dog Treats

Just one healthy, pristine ingredient…Beams are made from pure, wild-caught Atlantic Catfish* skins, from the clean ocean waters of Iceland, dried into savory, chewy sticks. They’re guaranteed to satisfy the pickiest of pups and are the perfect treat alternative to dried chicken snacks or bully sticks! (*Atlantic Catfish is a marine fish, which is different from domestic freshwater catfish found in the United States!)

Beams are an excellent source of lean protein, they’re also lower fat and are a good source of Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids. Fish is an excellent treat for dogs who have sensitivities to more common protein sources.

All natural chew that will have your pet BEAMing in delight This is one tough fish skin chew. We got a box of TALLS. Each piece was about 10 ~ 12" long, and each box was generously stuffed with at least 10 pieces. Both of my dogs devoured their stick with gusto. The more vigorous chewer (30 pounds) finished his in about 5 minutes, while the daintier one (20 lbs.) took twice as long. With its hard texture and ridged surface, it seems like a great dental workout. While the product does smell very strongly of fish, at least there's no mistaking the ingredients -- pure Icelandic fish skin, which is sustainably caught, I might add. My dogs generally do well with fish-based products, which is part of why they have such great skin and coats. This product is not terribly oily or messy though... not that the dogs so much as a crumb to clean up. Highly recommended! January 6, 2013
Good Source for Chewing and Nutrition My Chihuahua does not care for them but my Collie loves them. I freeze them and it takes longer to chew and cuts the fish odor. I think they are a good treat although not a substitute for Bully sticks. December 7, 2013
Nothing but fish! Rawhide replacement! My German Shepherd loves rawhide, but I don't like that it may contribute to bloat. I was looking for an alternative treat that will keep him occupy long enough when I clip his nails. Beams is one such treat. He loves it and it is strong enough to keep him busy for 5-10 minutes while I groom him (he is a power chewer). The tall is a good foot long - hard to store, so I cut it in half - works fine. Healthy treat that my dogs LOVE! My dogs LOVE these treats for the taste! I love that they are a healthy alternative to other treats. July 16, 2014
Tasty Smelly things My dog LOVES these smelly treats-- He seems to think they are tasty! I like the "ONE INGREDIENT". I would recommend these to all animal lovers. March 11, 2014
Dogs like it My dogs like this product. One has an allergy to red meat, so I can't use raw hide. These last for quite a while since my dogs are all chihuahuas. September 16, 2013
Great treat! My babies love these - great alternative from rawhide! July 25, 2013
Stinky but my dog loves The course of actions my dog took the first time she got one: Take quickly from me, run off to her bed. Put treat in her bed, proceed to roll on it head first. After she rolled long enough, or was hungry enough, settle down to eat. First one took her about 45 minutes to eat. She must have learned the trick, since they take less than 5 minutes to eat now. On the other hand, she will take this over any other chew we give her, and the only thing she will ignore for these is her food from Orijen, which she actually bounces for. These then get placed securely in second place in her mind, so for $8 does the quantity meet quality? Yes, yes it does. This will be ordered quite a bit. I got the small bag, it contained a BUNCH of fish skins, although most are super skinny, it still has a bunch. This is certainly quality -and- quantity, and I am thankful for Chewy allowing me to find these. March 13, 2013
