Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't say enough good things about Honest Kitchen dog food For years I have known raw is the best but I didn't like the idea of my bearded dog rubbing bacteria on the carpet so I happily settled for Orijen which she trived on but I always knew there must be something better. I also knew raw was time consuming and very costly. I switched to Honest Kitchen Force last month and for the first time in 10 1/2 years my schnauzer wimpers when I'm preparing her meals. She also has more energy which I didn't think was possible. I mix it 1:1 with water after speaking to their customer service department and when she's done her beard is just very damp. I give it a quick wipe even though there's nothing visible on it. I love that the meat is hormone and antibiotic free and that all the veggies are organic and non-GMO. As an added bonus, it's cheaper than Origen! Unbelievable. I have never been so excited about dog food and plan to spread the word. May 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by the honest kitchen is a honestly amazing Co that makes amazing dogfood I LOVE this dog food and so does my 13 yr old chihuahua. She has always had to get allergy shots and had trouble with obesity regardless of the food we tried over the years. I finally found The Honest Kitchen and tried the sample packs and she loved it. Since she has been on it (several months now) she no longer has allergies, her weight is down and she looks and is in the best shape she has been in years! However that being said, I would recommend getting a sample package first because some dogs do not like the texture. I myself have another dog that sometimes she wants this food other times she wants plain hard food. Dogs are like people ... they all their own taste. Again do your research this is a great company and high quality food. Before I feed my dogs ANYTHING I research the food, company, history, where food is made if there have ever been any recalls and if so how were they handled. My pets are my babies and with that being said I will choose The Honest Kitchen anyday. December 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My dog LOVES this. I have a senior dog and I wanted to provide him with the best food I could afford. I was contemplating making homemade food for him, but I was afraid I would make the food wrong or would not know what sort of vitamins to add to it to be nutritional. So I stumbled on Honest Kitchen and it sounded pretty good! I ordered a 2lb box to start off with. I still feed him kibble in the morning, but at dinner, I feed him this (also with some kibble mixed in) and it makes him so excited! It's super convienient, just add water, let it puff up, then feed it! I noticed that he poops less and his poop is more firm, which was soft before feeding him this. He has more energy too! My dog is also urinary incontinent and when I started feeding him this, he seemed to leak a bit less and stopped wetting his bed at night. I'm wondering if it's because it's grain free or possibly the amount of flaxseed in it (second ingredient) that is known to sometimes help incontinence. Hurrah! We're both happy with this purchase. :) November 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Honestly Good Product I've been using FORCE for around two years as a supplemental food for my two Great Danes. I mix it into their kibble and they love it. Not all flavors go over as well as the FORCE, but the results is shiny coats and waggy tails. I highly recommend this food. May 18, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Probably a great food but only if dog likes it Jack is a 4 month old Bernese Mountain Dog who decided early that even the best kibble (Orijen) wasn't for him. I've always wanted to try feeding raw, but because of freezer space, it had to be dehydrated or freeze dried. He started on Primal which he adores, but at the rate a growing Berner munches through a bag, it's prohibitively expensive. After a lot of research, I decided to try Honest Kitchen Force which seemed pretty close to the Primal in quality while being more affordable. He's a good eater, but only if he likes what I serve. He had a few mouthfuls of the Honest Kitchen before sitting down and staring at me in disbelief. I coaxed him to try again. Several times. It did not get better. No slam on Honest Kitchen; it smelled better than what I cooked for dinner. Jack just didn't like it. April 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Convenient, healthy, and reasonably priced Until I found Honest Kitchen, I ordered frozen raw shipped direct from another company. Shipping became prohibitive. I believe HK provides nearly the same health benefit for my dog, at less than half the cost. Dehydrated raw food needs to be prepared ahead of feeding, but once you're in that routine, it is just as easy as feeding kibble. Dogs love it! May 7, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good enough for the ingredients I purchased this product so that my dogs would not be eating so much dogfood that had gluten/grains, which most popular food has. They eat it, IF I add some meat to it... Otherwise, it stays there and sits. So, I supplement this food with other products. April 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pom loves it! I mix this into my Pomeranian's dry food a few times a week. She gets so excited when she knows she's getting it. It's very easy to mix up just a little bit.I do a tablespoon mixed with warm water and mix it into her dry food. She will eat every last bite. April 24, 2016
