I have a single row rake, and it is a necessity for removing shedding undercoat on my Aussie, so when I saw this, I though....2 rows might be better than one.
It works Excellently! But also works so well that it might be too rough for every dog. I find I need to be very careful and very gentle, so it doesn't scratch her skin, or yank hair out by the bagful. I will probably use it only during her worst shedding cycle, and save the single row for weekly grooming.

In a word... AMAZING! :-) I have 2 Siberian Husky/American Eskimo females. This works amazingly well on their double coats. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DeChico Undercoat Rake
Any one with a dog with a thick undercoat needs this ASAP...I didn't know much about grooming my Aussie until I bought this and the slicker brush...Iowa spring and summer are a hot, hot time and I could tell my pup wasn't happy. The undercoat rake will remove massive amount of dead/unwanted hair leaving your dog better looking and cooler. The size and grip for this model is perfect for small to medium dogs.

He likes it too, I would have given 5 stars if it came with a person to do the grooming for me;) it is actually 5 star worthy.

I've got a Lab and there is hair galore. This rake gets to a lot of it, and it's not sharp, nor does it hurt the dog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jo21 great tool for grooming
I recently adopted a sheltie and her coat was in very bad shape. This rake has helped get the undercoat out in a very gentle manner and I am seeing improvement already.
