Rated 5 out of 5 by Satch Is there a more approriate dog food?
While the price might throw you for a loop, K9 Natural has meat and fat your dog craves. Yet the remaining portion is fruits and vegetables that mean no artificial vitamins and minerals need to be added.
While it is hard to feed a large dog this diet because of price, even making it a 1/3 of your dogs diet will ensure your dog is eating what nature intended.
This food makes for small firm stool as almost all is digested.
My Lab is eating a 50% diet made up of K9 Naturals as he ages into senior life. He may not be around the rest of my life, but for the remaining years we have together I want the best for him.

I switched from a couple of raw frozen diets to K9 Natural as I wasn't happy with my boy's digestion, and I also preferred K9 Natural's ingredients, that include raw green tripe. There was an immediate difference, between night and day, for the better in his bowel movements as soon as I started feeding him K9 Natural. He absolutely loves the food and his coat is glorious now. I have also ordered the lamb variety, with the same fabulous results to show for it. Great, grain free, dehydrated food!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lisa53 Expensive, but worth every penny!
I have two dogs. One who will eat anything and the other who is as picky as they get, and has a sensitive stomach. I have tried so many different brands and none come close to this product. The food is, from what I can tell by the way they gobble it down, amazing!! The picky one is eating like a 'real dog' now, and eating as fast as the other one, not leaving a speck of food in her wake. The ingredients are pure enough to eat myself [not that I would, but I could if need be!]
The only downside is that my dogs now wake me up at seven on the dot to eat breakfast. With the other foods, they waited me me to leisurely rise. Now, they can't wait to get their mouths around this stuff.
They are both thriving from the K9 naturals. Yes, its pricey, but so is the food I put in my own mouth. So, I pass up one night out to dinner with my husband and it covers the cost of a months supply of food for my dogs. Is it really THAT expensive if you break it down like that??

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rebamjr My 17 year old dog likes this food and eats it with gusto.
Pricey but if you order the Big Box 35lb, it comes out to be about $11 less per bag than buying the individual bags.

by newswriter Package Feeding guide not accurate
I like the quality of this food as a substitute for ordinarily making RAW meals for my Chihuahua, but when following the feeding guidelines, my 6-pound Chihuahua acts as if he's starving.
I had to double the recommended portions for him and he hasn't gained weight. This leads me to believe the portions according to the guidelines are not appropriate and thus doubles the cost of an already pricey food.
I do like the ingredients, the appearance and the ease of feeding, but I'm only going to use this intermittently because of the doubled cost.

My dogs really like this food. They usually eat fresh, raw protein, but I like to alternate with this too.

Sorry, my dog can't tolerate this food. I gave her only a very small amount mixed in with her regular food and warm water. It all came back on my rug.
