We love the zoom groom brushes. Our pets seem to enjoy the feeling of being groomed with them and they do a wonderful job of removing dead hair. Also, I have arthritis in my hands and I find these brushes so easy to hold. That's important to me.

I use this on our 3 dogs and 2 cats. They wait in line for their turn, and with other brushes I have to force them to make it through. This removes an incredible amount of hair, but it flies. The best bet would be to do it outside. I do it on a flat weave area rug, then use the brush to brush up the fur from the rug.
It also works well to remove hair from furniture!

I have furminator as well. This one is cheap, does its work, and most of all, my two shelties love getting this service done to them. When one gets this, the other growls out of jealousy! Only thing is that it doesn't hold on to the loose fur, making fine fur flying all over the place, but I guess it's a minor problem.

by Spirithope Best product for short haired dogs
I have two pitbulls and I use this brush on them when I bathe them. Once I have them all lathered up in shampoo, I scrub away with this thing and it cuts down on their shedding a TON. Also great for brushing between baths and it feels great on their skin, my boys love getting brushed with this tool!

Rated 5 out of 5 by TetonDogs My anti-brushing Husky loves this!
I wish I had tried this years ago. I have a Husky and a GSD mix who love to be brushed and will actually fall asleep while I'm grooming them. I have another Husky who is very sensitive to touch and she absolutely despises being brushed. Being a Husky, regular brushing is not optional. I've tried every other kind of brush out there and end up following her around with a brush in my pocket, taking a gentle swipe through her fur whenever I get the chance. She has a gorgeous red coat, but because of her aversion to brushing, she always has little puffs sticking out. I didn't try Zoom Groom in the past because I assumed her coat would be too thick. I was wrong. As soon as I touched her with this, she just looked at it, instead of trying to run away like she does with every other brush. Once I started using it on her, she stretched out and totally relaxed. I couldn't believe it. There was no adjustment period. It must feel like an awesome doggy massage. And it took out soooo much loose fur! Now, all three dogs line up and try to push in front of each other so they can be first when I pull out the Zoom Groom. I won't be without one of these, now that I've given it a chance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MiaAndJetsGuardian LOVE the ZoomGroom
I first found this product about 10 year ago! But of recent, have not been able to located in pet stores. I had to purchase a rubber horse currier instead, until I found the ZoomGroom on Chewy.com. AND my dog LOVES the ZoomGroom. It must massage him while I brush. And talk about removing shedding hair! I would TOTALLY recommend this product. Oh - I use it on my cats too! I have a stray cat that I could hardly get near until I managed to get the ZoomGroom on her. Now I am the only one she will approach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nook Works on a husky!
When I first looked at the ZoomGroom, it didn't look like it would do much to remove fur from a husky. But based on someone else's review, I decided to give it a try. You say the word brush and my dog runs away. He doesn't like the FURminator or slicker brush. But this rubber brush has changed all that! I use it like I'm petting and massaging him. He loves it, and lots of hair comes off. Like a slicker brush, it gets caught in the rubber knobs and you just peel the hair out when it's full.
