KONG Extreme Dog Toy Customer Reviews

KONG Extreme Dog Toy 4.8 5 110 110
Not indestructible, but tougher than nails I have a Golden Retriever with jaws like a vice. I put treats in the Kong, and she crushes them until she gets all the pieces. She is 6 yrs. old, and on her 3rd Kong. I just bought this one as an "extra". September 5, 2013
kong toy Great for pit bulls - lasts a long time and she really enjoys it November 19, 2013
The one toy every dog needs to have. The Kong is the most versatile dog toy available. Its a chew toy, and ball for fetch, you can fill it with treats, and it will last forever. My dog can destroy anything. But in five years he is only on his second Kong Extreme. It took him 3 years to rip the first one in half, and the second one has no tears yet. I highly recommend every dog owner get their dog a Kong. It is the best toy you can buy. August 4, 2013
Good for Aggressive Chewers I have a 100+ pound American Bulldog, King Shepherd Cross. I have spent over $50 in the past month on 'indestructible toys' for aggressive chewers - most last between 15 minutes and a few days. The Kong Extreme has lasted more than a week and I feel will last for some time. Good choice for aggressive chewers. February 21, 2014
AMAZINGLY STURDY We were looking for an indestructible toy for the rescue pitbulls at our kennel. Every toy we tried was destroyed in a few minutes and regular kongs lasted no more than 2 hours. I originally bought 1 just to try and we were thrilled when it survived a week, then 2 and still not marked. I ordered the next 4 and we filled them with peanut butter as a treat. They are great. The dogs carry them everywhere even out for play time in the field. Thank you. December 18, 2012
I should have bought more of these! What was I thinking? I ordered only one kong and I have 3 dogs? Not very smart. My female Belgian Malinois (former Military Working Dog) is a true toy terminator. The other two dogs are male Greyhounds. They are easy on toys. I guess I was only thinking of what she would not easily destroy, and I totally did not think that my boys would also love this toy. This Kong Extreme has held up very well to her extreme abuse. I highly recommend it to others with "El Destructo" type canines. I bring my dogs with me to my office every day. Occasionally that can get somewhat wild. Lucky for me I own the business! Putting treats in the Kong usually keeps her quiet and occupied at least as long as I need to be on the phone. Get one, they are totally worth it. January 31, 2014
One of the BEST toys for hardcore chewers So far this is the longest lasting and favorite rubber based chew toy for our pit bull puppy. After 4-5 months of heavy use, it has some teeth marks and scratches but still intact without any tears. This was like his pacifier and it makes a weird squeaky squishy sound as he's gnawing on it (which isn't an issue unless you're trying to sleep). Fill it with healthy treats, smear a little peanut butter in it, throw it and it bounces erratically. Great toy! The only drawback - since it's black, be careful not to step on this unless you want to learn spontaneous back flips. January 9, 2014
Best way to pass the time when crating My dog knows its time to go in the crate when she sees her kong coming out of the freezer (filled with either peanut butter or cream cheese) July 27, 2013
