I have some Kong toys that are great, I was hoping to use this as a crate treat toy that I would fill with peanut butter and treats, but my dog found it fun to pull apart, little pieces at a time. Even with nothing in it yet. Yes, that is her thing and I knew it, but I was hoping/wishing that this toy would be tougher, but it wasn't. It is her mission to pull apart toys and she did so with this, easily. Great idea if you dog doesn't do that, but be prepared, it is far from indestructible.

My lab/heeler mix and pug/yorkie mix both enjoyed the star pod greatly. Unfortunately, after a couple of days the toy was in a million pieces and unfit for further play. Recommended for puppies or dogs that don't chew very heavily.

Our Yorkies love this toy packed with treats! Kong makes the most durable toys on the market. We have since purchase the wishbone and bone that are a similar design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SavvyJulie Excellent product for my destructive boxer
I always try to find interactive toys for my boxer that she will not be able to destroy. I've tried other treat toys but they were made of plastic and she always managed to break them... often injuring herself in the process. KONG Quest Star Pods Dog Toy is made of a soft durable rubber material that is gentle on her gums and withstands her rough play.

My chihuahua has a really long tongue so this one isn't much of a challenge for her. But my mom's teacup yorkie seems to like it :)

My Chihuahuas love all kong toys and filling them with treats keeps them out of my hair when im busy and they are up my butt lol. this one works great with this treat cut to size to fit in the center. Very hard to get out. http://www.chewy.com/dog/zukes-lil-links-rabbit-apple-recipe/dp/44476 My dogs have never so much as put a tooth mark in any Kong rubber toy so people who have dogs that destroy them must be heavy chewers. Or at least mine are light chewers but they do gnaw on their kongs for awhile so I don't know . I feel Kong is an excellent, durable brand.

Hudson loves to get the snacks out of this kong toy, but he was able to destroy it. He is doodle and I wouldn't consider him a heavy chewer, but he had pieces off of this toy in 10-15 minutes. He loves it and we still use the intact parts to hide treats in, but I have to watch to be sure he's not eating the toy. Love the concept, I wish it was a little stronger.
