KONG Tug Dog Toy
Very good product
The Kong Tug dog toy is very durable and strong. If you have a determined chewer though it may not last. My German Shepherd is 17 mos. old and picked apart the rubber on the handle in the middle of the toy. Now he can only have it when we are playing with him. I would recommend it to dogs older than 2.

too delicate for anything but maybe a dog with no teeth
My dog had this toy in her mouth for all of two seconds when it snapped. It looked durable in the pic online, but feels cheap in actuality. Had been really excited for this toy, surprised at the lack of durable pull toys out there...cuz this is definitely not it.

Great exercise! Durable!
The Kong tug is our dogs new favorite toy! It really seems indestructible...well made. He has gotten stronger, and so has my forearm :). We have a yellow lab...so perfect for this breed!

Puppy just not interested in it.
I'm sure this toy would be excellent for someone who's dog is interested in it. My 7 month old lab apparently prefers something with a little fuzz on it.

Great design but big teeth can shred rubber ends
Our 7 month old pit bull loves playing tug but regular tug ropes kept shredding and he'd try to snatch the opposite end from my hand. This design prevents both of those issues since it's rigid and doesn't fold in half either.
After a month of heavy use, it's still intact but the black rubber on the end is starting to tear away where he holds it. So far we like it, it's super strong, and it's better than a messy rope.

good pull toy bad chew toy.
The description is accurate this is not a chew toy. Really good pull toy. We had purchased a similar item that was a solid rubber pull toy, that we liked better. Not sure our old model is still available. . This one is hard plastic and rubber. If we leave this out with our lab I an afraid it will become a bunch of small plastic pieces. The older version we had also worked as a chew toy.

Puppy loved it as she was teething
Our puppy [who is now 65 lbs at 6 months] loves this thing. She chews on it and carries it wherever it goes. When her adult teeth came in, this one was the one thing that protected our furniture, our sanity and appeared to soothe her gums. After two months, one of the black rubber things on one of the handles came off but given the mileage she put onto it, I'm not going to complain. Other than that, she hasn't managed to do any damage to it. Huge hit at our house!
