KONG Tugga Wubba Dog Toy
DOES NOT LAST WITH EXTREME CHEWER!!!
I saw the other reviews and thought, heck, why not give it a try. It might work. Wrong!!! I got it, the day we got it, I gave it to my 110lb Cane Corso Italian Mastiff, played tug, tossed it around. So far so good, I thought. After 15 mins, two of the blue straps hanging came off. Okay, Cane Corsos are known for being really strong, etc...so I figured, it'd happen. I put it up for the day, next day, picked it up for about a 15 min session with my boy...SERIOUSLY, I turned around for less than one minute, trying to retrieve a toy under the table for my other CC...turned back around and he had completely unraveled the whole middle!!!!! So, I do not recommend for a HEAVY chewer or an EXTREME chewer like my boy. The only things that have lasted with him is the largest black KONG, he's had since he was 9 months, he's now 3yrs. 3 months and it's still in one piece. Goughnut, the donut by them...he has had it for over a year, still in one piece...I have spent over a $1000 dollars in toys for him over 3 years and I HAVE tried EVERYTHING!!! It'll work for smaller dogs and not excessive chewers but for safety, I would not recommend it if you have a dog like mine.

Can be thrown by human or a dog can throw it around via the tassel ends. My two dogs always love tuggas

Not for aggressive chewers
I have small dogs and they still managed to chew the ends off of this toy in one day!

Finally a dog tug toy that doesn't have a loud squeaker or long fuzzy pieces at the ends [aka average rope toys] My big St. Bernard mixes love this thing! Its so simple but they haven't destroyed it and they really enjoy playing with it. Its each on our human hands as well. Love it!

I'd recommend this toy based on its quality. It's a little big for an 8 week old German Shepherd but it will be a good size soon enough.

Holds up for quite a while
My 64lb GSD loves Kong's Wubbas. The tugga is equally tough and does hold up for quite a while with vigorous play and chewing. Eventually it does unravel a bit but the dog still loves it that way. Kong products seem to be the only toys that are really worth the money and will withstand my dogs rough playing and chewing.
