Rated 2 out of 5 by Leigh555 DOES NOT LAST WITH EXTREME CHEWER!!!
I saw the other reviews and thought, heck, why not give it a try. It might work. Wrong!!! I got it, the day we got it, I gave it to my 110lb Cane Corso Italian Mastiff, played tug, tossed it around. So far so good, I thought. After 15 mins, two of the blue straps hanging came off. Okay, Cane Corsos are known for being really strong, etc...so I figured, it'd happen. I put it up for the day, next day, picked it up for about a 15 min session with my boy...SERIOUSLY, I turned around for less than one minute, trying to retrieve a toy under the table for my other CC...turned back around and he had completely unraveled the whole middle!!!!! So, I do not recommend for a HEAVY chewer or an EXTREME chewer like my boy. The only things that have lasted with him is the largest black KONG, he's had since he was 9 months, he's now 3yrs. 3 months and it's still in one piece. Goughnut, the donut by them...he has had it for over a year, still in one piece...I have spent over a $1000 dollars in toys for him over 3 years and I HAVE tried EVERYTHING!!! It'll work for smaller dogs and not excessive chewers but for safety, I would not recommend it if you have a dog like mine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mandi24 Not for my pup
I love Kong products, but my 6 month old puppy chewed this toy up in 2 hours. Right after I got it out of the box it was essentially destroyed. Not for me. (or not for Reece) :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cinnybuns Most durable toy I've found
I have a pit bull that loves to chew. She's very strong and this is the only toy that "has a fighting chance" against her strength. Not to mention that after chewing on this rope for about a week, all brown marks on her theeth were gone. I always have a stockpile of them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by WinniesGrampa In a about 12 days, already being chewed up.
My beagle LOVES to play Tugga Wubba War with it but then settles down to chew on it. I realize it is helping keep her teeth clean, but she is quickly fraying the knotted portion. Not as resistant to chewing as I had hoped. Maybe I've got a beagle who is especially tough on chew toys..... I guess I should take it away after our Tugga Wubba War play time..... But she loves to play with it solo by picking it up and throwing it across her play pen too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pitbullgrandma No squeaky in this one, but a good Tugga Wubba
I only have one dog, one very spoiled dog, but I think this toy would be great for folks with two dogs. They could play tugga wubba all day every day. The rope is good and the lack of a squeaky makes doing quiet activities more fun. Again highly recommended for larger strong dogs that have no problem tearing stuff up fast. This is durable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Labspoiler Fun distraction for a time
This toy was to entertain our dog for quite a while. She is a power chewer and destruction machine. This toy was very durable for about 2 days and then the first strands of the threading gave way. It is still quite entertaining to watch her tug with this or just flip it up in the air on her own. Kong toys are very durable and the variety is awesome.

My senior female Basenji (age 14) had bad teeth when we rescued her 10 years ago. She has since had most of her teeth removed. That didn't remove her desire to chew. Rough chew toys hurt her, but this one gives her a self soothing tool and fulfills her desire to chew. It has eliminated a lot of the paper shredding she was once preferred.
