Rated 5 out of 5 by curmudgeonjohn ears stay out of food
I have a cocker spaniel whose ears are always getting into his food. This bowl keeps them out plus he doesn't slide it all over the floor eating.

I'm using this for rambunctious cats who like to play in their water and knock it over. So far none of my 4 has been able to make a mess with this dish so problem seems to be solved.

Actually I thought that the dish would be deeper. To bad!

Holds 20 ounces of water, not the advertised 32 ounces. (I checked with a measuring cup.) Our big dog with big paws tips this water bowl over with ease... unfortunately. However, the stainless is a pretty good quality/weight and the rubber ring is sturdier than others I've had.

I bought two of these bowls because the price was good and narrow deep bowls can be hard to find. I have one by another company that I got a long time ago that I like a little more because it is narrower, but I do still like this bowl. The rounded bottom prevents food from sticking in the corner

This is a good bowl for our medium sized dog. The deeper version is really important. We tried the other shallow versions before, but they allowed a lot of food and water to spill over the sides. Light weight metal, but sturdy enough. I would recommend.

These bowls meet our needs, but a small curve where the rim meets the floor allows water to collect. This means we spill water from the rim whenever we move the dish.
