Merrick Classic Real Chicken, Brown Rice + Green Pea Recipe Adult Dry Dog Food
Merrick Classic Dry Dog
Excellent food line. Good choice of variety. I use this as a backup when my dogs get tired of their regular kibble. Would feed Merrick all the time, but they changed their formula (still great) and increased the protein percentage. One of my 4 pups has had problems with kidney stones. Higher protein is a problem for him. Before they increased protein levels I fed Merrick consistently.

merrick dog food
Since receiving this product our German Shepard has lost all signs of an upset stomach. She now has solid stools every time. Her gas is gone and she is so much happier in herself. we have just re ordered the product as it's the only one that suits her. This is a great solution to her problem. Well done Merrick

Tasty and Healthy!
I have two dogs, an 8 year old lab and a 2 year old mixed breed. The lab has a sensitive stomach and we have tried numerous foods, but they would constantly upset her stomach. This food does not upset her stomach at all and both are very excited at feeding time and are usually begging for more! Not only is the stomach issue fixed, but "cleanup" has been much easier as well. It seems like both dogs digest this food very well. I'm happy with the food and I'm happy with chewy.com and their auto-ship program. We are all happy here with Merrick!

Merrick is the BEST
I was a little worried after Merrick did a product re-branding last year, being fan of the product for years. How foolish of me, as usual Merrick delivers. Fantastic ingredient list, high quality, doggie approved. I have used Merrick for my Puggle since she was a 3 months old - she is now 4 years and has the glossiest, silkiest coat with bright shiny eyes and a sweet temperament. Don't waste money on expensive shampoos and conditioners, HIGH QUALITY foods are the best way to keep your dog beautiful and healthy. You'll save money in vet bills as well with great nutrition.
Pros: Best food on the market, Delivers a shiny smooth coat and glassy bright eyes while keeping your doggie lean and happy.
Cons: Like many high quality foods it can lead to high quality gas

The Perfect Change
I have a picky eater in my home (a year old American Pit Bull Terrier). Although she loved Nutro Ultra for puppies she loathed the adult formula. I tried several expensive brands in an effort to interest her and she turned her nose up at every meal (I feed her kibble and canned). After doing research I tried Merrick Grain Free Duck and Sweet Potato. Again, a loss. So I decided to give Merrick another go and purchased this food (hoping the lack of grain was the problem).
Not only does she enjoy her food, she licks her bowl clean. I add many varieties of Merrick canned with her meals. Her favorite is Grammy's Pot Pie but she also eats the others.
Her coat is shiny and soft and she has tons of energy. We added a new addition to our home last month and he's thriving on Merrick's Classic Chicken, Brown Rice + Green Pea Recipe Puppy Food (from Puppy Chow -- he also gets Grain Free Puppy Plate canned with his meals).
For those who are curious the kibble is small, smells nice and my dogs have solid stools (even with the canned in their diets -- I've transitioned all of them to this brand). They are healthy, happy and love feeding time.

My dog loves this product.
In the past we have had trouble finding a food that would agree with my wheaten terrier and this one is just what he needs for good nutrition.

Glad I switched over
My dog had been on a few foods till I found California Natural he was about 5 months old. He tolerated that the best with limited ingredients. Then came the dreaded recalls....He was already getting a tablespoon of Merrick's wet with each meal. I switched him over and all went well. He is thriving on this stuff. He is 1 1/2 years now. Shiny white sort hair loves his Merrick.
