Merrick Ranger Rib Dog Treats
Pretty good, but thin..
I ordered 10 of these ribs for my 2 pitbulls, but honestly I don't think I will buy them again.. I think I will stick with Merrick's knuckles. These ribs are great, dont get me wrong, but due to the nature of ribs, they are a bit thin and fracture in lengthwise shards when chewed and crunched on. My dog ate one in an hour.... so yea, if you have heavy-duty chewers, I say get Merrick's Tank knuckle bones instead.

Better ribs than a famous restaurant
These ribs are so large and full of delicious morsels of meat, my 3 ridgebacks flip over them.
One word of caution, they do splinter and I'm sure it's only because my dogs are LARGE almost giant size so I feel they are more suited for med size or slightly larger but for sure not for giant dogs.

My dog loved it but is it safe for his digestive system? It broke apart very easily.
Not sure if they are safe for the dog. My dog devoured it readily but could the pieces (splinters) cause digestive problems?
I ordered a bunch and am hesitant to give him more, since it broke up pretty quickly.

The rib isn't good for strong chewers.
My dogs love all these Merrick bones, however my 10 pound Havanese mix chewed through one of the rib bones. She's had several, but that one she chewed right off the end. The ribs are fine for my other dog who doesn't chew anything, but likes the beef flavor on this brand. Made in the U.S.!

loved it, but didn't last long
Our 55lb dog loved this treat, but he was done with it in no time. Next time I'm making sure to get 3 or 4.

Not for a powerful chewer
I have 2 powerful chewers and these bones started splintering after a few minutes. I won't buy again.

Dog enjoyed but I did not
My dog enjoyed the bone. But it splintered and she chewed threw it like candy. I found sharp pieces all over that had to pick up. It also made a mess and crumbled all over the carpet.

Dogs like ribs, too.
My dogs were sniffing the cardboard box the second I pulled it in off the porch. The ribs come wrapped in plastic but they could smell them! The "beef jerky" on the bone is just leftover meat sticking to the rubs, it didn't last more than 3 minutes. But the dogs enjoy chewing on the ribs long after the meat is gone.
If you have white rugs, you might want to skip this product or put down a towel, the ribs are a little messy and very greasy.
