Rated 5 out of 5 by Neenie Finally, no more loose stools!
After starting our boxer puppy on Eagle Pack and not being able to resolve his loose stools, we tried Whole Earth puppy formula. We are 3 weeks in and with this change and the addition of plain Greek yogurt to his diet, he no longer has loose stools. He seems to love the food. He has it dry in the morning with his yogurt and mixed with warm water and vegetables at night. His coat still has a lovely shine to it and his growth continues at a better than average rate. I couldn't be more pleased with this food and knowing it's a Merrick product is a blessing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by shinnuk This is great dog food
All my fur babies love this food, I have a rang of breeds. Beagle, 3 shihtzu's ,dachshund, pomeranian, frenchie, eng bulldog, and a mix breed. All of them are spay and neutered. Each one of them really love this food. Their age rang 14 yr to 9 weeks. It has not put extra weight on any of them. My 14 yr Seems to have more pep and a little playful. Thanks for such a great food.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cynth91 Quality but maybe not right for my pup
Bought this because I wanted something that didn't have wheat, soy, or corn. I have a 6 month old malamute/collie mix that was fed Beaverdam by the breeder. It's too hard to find and too expensive for me so wanted something quality but cheaper and more easily acquired.
-I like the ingredients
-like that the kibble doesn't have a strong odor
-price is good for quality and quantity
However, maybe I switched his food too quickly because I didn't have much beaverdam left, but my pup's stools are really soft and sometimes full blown diarrhea. It's been 4 weeks since I switched him so I was hoping it would harden up but still mudlike. I can even hear his stomach/intestines making sounds sometimes. I'm going to finish the bag and slowly switch him to Diamond Naturals lamb large breed puppy formula. The breeder says malamutes have sensitive stomachs and my vet favors lamb diets so I'm going to try that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amiko Great food great quality
I have been feeding my Lab Whole Earth sense I brought her home at 8 weeks and I am very pleased with the results!! Her coat is soft and glossy and she has an abundance of energy (that might just be because she is a 13month old Lab)
All in all I am very happy with Whole Earth and will also use their adult food (I'll prob switch to the grain free and try her out on that)

by DSWPoodles Standard Poodle Pups Love This
I am in rescue, mainly Standard Poodles. Some rescues arrive having been fed other foods so I slowly transition Whole Earth Farms ( by Merrick) into their food & some arrive with no knowledge of what they have been fed. All the new arrivals love it. I also feed it to any pup from Yorkies, toy & miniature poodles, Chinese Crested, & an Airedale. Out of 11 puppies, I only had one who had slightly runny stools which lasted one day. I think it was the stress of riding in a plane. I highly recommend this food. Merrick is made in the USA and sold at high quality dog suppliers. I know of several breeders, show dogs, standard poodles who retrieve, & of course, those of us who have standards for companions. ( my adults eat this brand in the adult formula also). For the cost, you can't beat the quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Racehorse Puppies refused to eat this Food
Great ingredients, but my litter refused to eat this food. They also had loose stools from this food. So I went back to my Royal Canin German Shepherd Puppy dry (which I have fed for years) and they eat like little piglets now. I can't say anything bad about this food, or negative, but my litter didn't like it. I would recommend trying it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Carolann Didn't like food and made my dog itch
Unfortunately, my standard poodle puppy didn't like this food, and since I have changed it to what my vet feeds his dogs, he has stopped itching, and enjoys his food more.
