Rated 5 out of 5 by Kuro Excellent product, very easy to assemble and disassemble.
The large crate I ordered was very nice though a little heavy because of its size. Very easy to assemble and disassemble. The crate material is well made with just one issue - the two plastic handles for carrying the crate when folded broke easily when inserted to the carry the crate. If you are not careful the handle can easily break.
I called Chewy and they cannot provide a replacement just for the one handle that was broken but they are very willing to replace the whole crate and have me donate the one I received to an animal shelter which was very nice of them.
I decided to keep it and will improvise a handle since I only need the handle when carrying the crate to the car, during dog's use, and when carrying it back to the garage to store it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by UrsulaP Best price, quick delivery
I had researched this crate for a week and searched dozens of websites comparing prices, shipping rates and shipping timeframes. Not on did chewy.com have this order in stock (which other sites did not), it also had the best price, free shipping and it arrived in two days. Product was just as described, easy to assemble and well made. It was recommended to me by my breeder. I'm very pleased all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathy64 Love the ease of assembly, the second door convenience.
I love the ease of assembly, the convenience of the second door for placement in my minivan. I can place more crates in my van since the second door allows entry from more than one side. It's a great value at a reasonable price.

We bought our first crate from Midwest 18 years ago and it is still working. We needed a crate for the our vehicles with a side and front entrance for our Ridgeback and I knew Midwest was well built. Unlike some other crates, the sections are held together with metal bracket clips oppose to plastic ones.
My only complaint is that I wish they would have kept the metal tray instead of switching to the plastic ones, since dogs have been know to chew this trays to pieces. Good value for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jay49 Good sturdy dog crate.
Crate is made with quality material. Having double doors is great feature! Only issue was a slightly misaligned front door which was easily aligned.
Our Golden Retriever enjoys her new dog haven!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DeniseMH The two door option is a benefit for space saving.
This crate is exactly the right size for my growing pup. The two door option is nice to have when moving this crate to different spaces within my home. Would recommend this to my future puppy buyers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mandylue Awesome crate!!
I was not expecting this crate to be as big as it is. Its huge!!! Way worth the money, and its an excellent price for what you get. Very sturdy. My dog chewed right through the wire of our previous cage from "big box store". With this cage she doesnt even try to chew on it. Absoulutly will buy from here again!

by kootiekat sturdy frame/speedy delivery
Purchased 48 inch double door for 80lb but tall pup.
We have used both "airline" style pen and open-wire crate like this with our dogs. Some have craved the "den" of the hard plastic airline crate. For dogs that must have a "view" or more air circulation, this crate with both an end portal and double door style is the cat's meow.
Chewy had it on our doorstep in 48 hours. Chewy has Customer Service with a capital "C."
Sturdy construction, well thought out design. Very reasonable price for product quality and size.
It's heavy at 56lbs shipping weight. When collapsed, though it has a carry handle included, it's easiest if 2 people move it. Once in desired location, it was easy for one person (female) to stand it up and pull the front/rear end portals into place.
Nice powder coating on wire, and very heavy gauge material. Plastic pan is a nice touch for easy clean and feel underfoot vs. metal. The divider piece would be great tool, though not used in this instance. If I had two smaller dogs, could put both in one pen with or without divider.
Though the latches are all secure to human touch, suggest cable ties for unused doors or other joints. Our dog tends to just "flop down" with all her weight against the crate sides when she settles in. Don't expect anything to pop apart, but wouldn't hurt.
Suggestion: when open the shipping box w/ razor, save the two broad pieces. One for under the pen to protect the wire from grabbing the carpet fibers, or one for under the slide-out plastic pan to add depth and minimize movement/sliding or rattling of wire.
Thanks again folks at Chewy!!
