MidWest Stainless Steel Snap'y Fit Water & Feed Bowl
Just what I was looking for!
This works really well. Not even hard (if you are careful) to snap a bowl half-full of water into the ring. Finally a crate cup that won't be knocked over or chewed!

I bought the 8-cup bowl and so far, i like it. My dog is only crated for 3 or 4 hours a day so I can fill it only half-way to cut down on spills and drips. I love that it's attached to the side of the crate so there's no bowl on the crate bottom that can be knocked around. My only complaint is that it's a little snug-fitting so I have to be really careful when I snap it back into the bracket, or risk spilling some of the water.

I agree with what one review said about the bowls being a little difficult to snap in and out of the metal frames, but for the price these are really great. Had they been more expensive, I would definitely be taking stars off for the small issue, but I am satisfied. They serve their purpose and feel like they will last for a while.

My dog is going through heartworm treatment and hates her kennel any bowl I put in there she tears to shreds this is the first product of many that has proven to be durable to my feisty nine year old shar pei.

I love these bowls but if they are stainless steel...why is my water bowl rusting? It's mostly the metal around the bowl that snaps it in place, is that not stainless steel?

Non-spillable, but can't attach bowl with water in it
This is a good, sturdy, non-spillable bowl, but because it's impossible to fill the bowl before you snap it in place without spilling water. I could put less water in it, I suppose, but that doesn't leave the dog much water to drink throughout the day. You end up having to fill the bowl while it's mounted, which is a complete pain.

Great stainless steel bowls for crate.
Our pup is getting big and needs a decent amount of water for when we are working, running errands, etc. These are very nice and I feel better using stainless steel vs. plastic for our pup. The only complaint I have is getting the stickers/labels off the bottom inside of the bowl and the side. It has taken a few scrubbings and washings.
