Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Lamb Meal & Rice Formula Large Breed Bites Dry Dog Food
19 Week old Leonberger
Switched from Royal Canin to this brand as our Vet recomended and he seems to love it. He's having a bit of a growth spirt now and is eating just about three bowls a day. Gained 12 lbs in two weeks (on schedule for these large breeds). Only thing that I would suggest is a larger size kibble to promote better chewing for digestion and teeth health. Auto-delivery is great and cheaper than local.

Our solution to IBD
My Weim was diagnosed with the tentative condition IBD. Tentative, because it's extremely expensive and difficult to diagnose with certainty, or so I'm told. The suspicion is that her upper or lower intestines are allergic to a certain animal protein. After months of nothing but $68/17.6lb Hills Venison&Potato (not even treats, and walking her with a muzzle#, she passed the "lamb" test #trimmings of raw lamb), so I weaned her off and put her on this. Success! It might not be the solution for every dog's IBD or IBS or Crohn's or food allergies, but it's the bomb for us.

this product is a life savor two of my 3 dogs have sensitive stomachs
I wish I new about this food years ago instead of feeding all three of my dogs seperate foods I found a food I can feed my 10 mth old and my 3 year old. Plus no digestive upset. I can also feed my senior dog as well if I run out.
5 Stars and three thumbs up

Switched my food allergic Golden's to this after 2 different recalls on California natural. Like that they test all there own food in their in house labs. Dogs seem to like it.

Was afraid of buying a large amount in case they didn't like it. Even the pup with no allergies loves it. Success!

Great for "Greyhound Tummy"
Anyone who is ruin by a Greyhound knows that their digestion can leave much to be desired. Limited ingredient Diet is what our Veterinarian finally suggested and it works. She enjoys it and the processed result is for the most part fine. Every now and then we backslide but for the most part it is fine.

Disaster for my dog
Difficult to review this product. For my dog it was a disaster. My fault, I chose the wrong food, should never have picked a dog food with rice or any grain. For two years we have struggled to keep her allergy symptoms at bay. One misstep and the itchy skin and ears came back with a vengeance. Stopped this food within a week and put her on Natural Balance Fish and Potatoes. The allergy symptoms disappeared quickly.

So far, quite what I'd hoped for.
First, a comment to Chewey.com.
I inadvertently ordered 3 of the 28-lb packages of the lamb/rice because when I thought I was changing from a 1 bag order to a 2 bag order, I got 3 instead of the 2 which I intended. So I won't need another order in 2 months.
The L.I.D. Lamb/Rice meal has worked great so far. No hint of digestive disturbance (which other meat products have produced). My 12 y/o golden likes the flavor just fine.
