19 Week old Leonberger Switched from Royal Canin to this brand as our Vet recomended and he seems to love it. He's having a bit of a growth spirt now and is eating just about three bowls a day. Gained 12 lbs in two weeks (on schedule for these large breeds). Only thing that I would suggest is a larger size kibble to promote better chewing for digestion and teeth health. Auto-delivery is great and cheaper than local. November 2, 2013
good food Switched my food allergic Golden's to this after 2 different recalls on California natural. Like that they test all there own food in their in house labs. Dogs seem to like it. July 7, 2013
Our solution to IBD My Weim was diagnosed with the tentative condition IBD. Tentative, because it's extremely expensive and difficult to diagnose with certainty, or so I'm told. The suspicion is that her upper or lower intestines are allergic to a certain animal protein. After months of nothing but $68/17.6lb Hills Venison&Potato (not even treats, and walking her with a muzzle#, she passed the "lamb" test #trimmings of raw lamb), so I weaned her off and put her on this. Success! It might not be the solution for every dog's IBD or IBS or Crohn's or food allergies, but it's the bomb for us. September 5, 2014
this product is a life savor two of my 3 dogs have sensitive stomachs I wish I new about this food years ago instead of feeding all three of my dogs seperate foods I found a food I can feed my 10 mth old and my 3 year old. Plus no digestive upset. I can also feed my senior dog as well if I run out. 5 Stars and three thumbs up July 8, 2014
Great for "Greyhound Tummy" Anyone who is ruin by a Greyhound knows that their digestion can leave much to be desired. Limited ingredient Diet is what our Veterinarian finally suggested and it works. She enjoys it and the processed result is for the most part fine. Every now and then we backslide but for the most part it is fine. February 18, 2014
well done Was afraid of buying a large amount in case they didn't like it. Even the pup with no allergies loves it. Success! October 12, 2014
Great Food for Sensitive Dogs My Collie was having reactions to the food that she was eating, which was also a Natural Balance food. After talking to some pet lovers and the vet, we put her on LID and the results have been just great. Her coat is soft and shiny and her skin, which was irritated, is now just fine. She likes the food and has been doing really well on it. If your dog is having a reaction to their food, I highly recommend this one. October 2, 2014
Decent rated nutritionally, works for both my dogs with sensitive stomachs I check a nutritional website before buying food for my dogs. This gets an average or above average rating there. That said, I had my 20 month German Shepherd on a frozen raw diet for a long time because he had a lot of digestion problems. When my rescue greyhound arrived she wasn't interested in the raw (thank goodness I couldn't afford to feed it to them both) so I picked up a bag of this at the local pet store. After a few days I noticed my shepherd stealing the Greyhound's food. AND no digestion problems. They have both been on it ever since. Sometimes I get the fish flavor as well. Both dogs are happy and healthy and doing well on this food. September 24, 2014
