Rated 5 out of 5 by BigMac Don't waste $ on exterminators I travel a lot for work, and got bed bugs in my luggage from a hotel I stayed at which then infested my house. Immediately called an exterminator who told me it would cost almost $3000 to fumigate my entire house, and my whole family would have to spend 2 days in a hotel. Thank God I didn't accept on the spot. I was in the process of getting a second exterminator's opinion when a friend told me about this flea & tick spray that would kill them. I was extremely skeptical, especially when I saw that it was all-natural, but figured it couldn't hurt to try before I drained my bank account. For less than $50 (needed several bottles to do my whole house, beds, clothing, etc.) and a couple hours of my time, it completely wiped them out. I now take a bottle with me when I travel to spray down hotel beds and carpets. Added bonus it smells really good. After how well this stuff worked, I tried the Natural Yard Spray too and now we don't have mosquitoes, flies and other annoying bugs around the house either. Which I thought was impossible in Florida. April 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by OhBichonPlease I use another spray on my dog... [Because this you need to spray to soak and then rinse, and my girl doesn't like the bath.] But I use this on all of our bedding and soft furnishing around the home. There has been a noticeable reduction in fleas, so hopefully this will be the last treatment we need to use or buy to eradicate our leftover 'friends' from the shelter. The smell is nice and damp linens aren't irritating to my or my dog's skin. September 7, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by bohicasis Used as a supplemental/ additive I will say this smells great! No matter the products i use they all wear off prior to the 30_45 days. I have found spraying this on my dogs prior to our walking in infested areas _mainly legs, chest and rear section feathering and tail no longer leaves him chewing himself upon arriving home so it MUST be working as a deterrent to critters/bugs ! No more scratching or chewing. Spraying it on my clothes has keep away the mosquitoes! Now if it came as a body wash or shampoo ..i would be the first to jump in the bath. I love it. Rated 5 out of 5 by CrazyCat219 Love this stuff! Works greats for keeping bugs off of your fur-babies. We also use it around the house. It seems to be good for repelling lots of things. Even spiders! Which is great because we have a spider problem this year! They are everywhere! After spraying our porch down, we were spider free for about 2 weeks. Time to order more! September 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by PaulaVer Good product - smells like chocolate! Maybe it's just my nose, but I like the smell of this product...it smells something like chocolate, but not exactly. I especially like that this product is all natural. I spray it on my dog's paws, back, and the top of her collar. I also spray it on my sneakers before we go for a walk. I've only been using it for a week, so I can't say for sure if it works better as a tick/flea repellant or actually kills ticks and fleas, but I will continue to use it. I've read other reviews that this product discolors fur, but I haven't noticed that on my dog. She has gold and white tones in her fur, with white paws. May 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by LisaK Great alternative to chemical pesticide. Bought this product because of great reviews. Found some fleas on my dog and reluctantly used a spot-on product. I accidentally applied too much towards the top of her body and ran out before I got to the tail area. Sure enough, within a week there was evidence of fleas around her tail. In the meantime, I purchased this product. I applied it to the back half of her body and have not seen a flea since. I also sprayed this product around my backyard spigot where a spider had been persistently building webs all summer. I think this stuff killed the spider because there haven't been any more webs since I sprayed. Very pleased with this product. Hope they continue to carry it. October 7, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by MarkJ Turned my digs coat orange I recently purchased this and it has a extremely strong smell, which would be ok but it also turned my white dogs coat a orange color. It did say to test in a small area which I did and it seemed ok,so I used it all over and a few hours later he turned a weird orange color,I did find some ticks after applying but they didn't seem to head for the skin,i found them on his head where I did not spray,so it seemed to work ,if your dogs a dark color great. Rated 5 out of 5 by MarthaJean Natural Chemistry Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs (AND MORE)! After reading the review of BigMac (dated April 19, 2013), I decided to try this product. I do not have bedbugs but reasoned that if this product could kill bedbugs as described, that it might also be effective on more than merely fleas, ticks, black flies and mosquitoes (I sent in a review on Natural Chemistry Yard & Kennel Spray which proved to be effective on sow bugs that were getting into the basement from the exterior). Last night I sprayed this product on the Fiberglas insulation - where the interior concrete block walls meet the insulation at the ceiling (my unfinished walkout is currently being improved and the exposed insulation on the ceiling will be covered). Fiberglas is a textile material so I assume that if it works on bed coverings, that it could also be effective on the insulation (prior to it being completely covered, if only for 7 days). This should work to supplement the other treatment. In my research I have learned that it is best to remove sow bugs by treating the exterior of the home and sweeping sow bugs on the interior. These bugs are seeking moisture and cannot survive without it. A de-humidifier will be installed this week and vented to the outside. I gave a 5-star rating primarily because I believe it would work on bedbugs, in addition to being effective for repelling blackflies and mosquitoes on contact with animal fur. June 16, 2014
