Nature's Variety Instinct Grain-Free Beef Formula Canned Dog Food 4.8 5 9 9
Nature's Variety Canned Beef...smells good enough for me to eat. I started feeding my 3 1/2 year old Lab, Major, canned and dry Nature's Variety Grain Free about 2 months ago. Major has suffered from bloat since he was 6 months old...he had emergency GDV surgery at 6 months and has suffered tummy troubles (bloating, gas, HGE, etc) since then. I have tried other premium dog foods with some success, but have had the most improvement so far with Nature's Variety. I have an idea that it might be the Montmorillonite Clay that is helping to settle his troubles. The ingredients are high quality and as soon as you pop the tab on the can, you'd swear you were at grandma's house for Sunday dinner...the roast beef aroma smells so tastey you might be tempted to try it for yourself. Good Food for my Baby's IBS I have been pleased with all of the Nat. Var. Instinct canned foods that I have served. I have used pork, salmon, beef, & venison. I have a dachshund, Luffy, with IBS. And, I completely empathize. We finally figured out that he is sensitive to chicken. It has been a struggle to find a food with an alternative protein that that does not ruin their product by adding chicken fat, and/or other digestive irritants. The Nat. Var. Instinct canned foods that I have used, exclude these common irritants. Luffy's stool is now firm and normal, and his gas has reduced in amount and frequency. June 19, 2014
A Healthy Choice My dog is a very finicky eater. I have yet to find a dog food he will eat without me forcing him to eat. I bought this because of the healthy ingredients. One suggestion: not so much liquid because I have to hand feed it. Anyway, it is a good choice. March 25, 2014
Our dogs love every flavor We have a "blue" colored dog and were told to use grain free products to help with the reduction in potential allergies related to the dogs color. Our dogs were placed on the same diet to make it easier on the person feeding the dogs. We have tried numerous grain free products and brands. Thus far, Natures Variety is always accepted by our dogs. The stools are formed and the volume is much less than with other brands. We are pleased with how the product(s) work for us so there is no need to try other brands. August 23, 2014
Best can food!!! I actually feed this food to my cat! Because of the 13 oz can, it is WAY more economical than Nature's Variety 5.5 oz can of cat food. Identical ingredients, vitamins and minerals. This was confirmed by the company!!! My cat loves it and being a rescue, his coat, weight and overall health and energy has been amazing!!! Also, rotate with their chicken flavor. August 17, 2014
Allergies cured I couldn't figure out what was causing the allergies in my chocolate lab and now that I switched to Nature's Variety grain free beef, he is no longer itching. Thank you for this product. Finally some relief! August 2, 2014
Picky dog loves Finally found a canned food that my picky dog will eat! Must say chewy is the best, most times when I order it comes the very next day. Thank you. May 1, 2014
Old dog eats it with gusto! My old Wheaten terrier had lost so much weight due to lack of appetite. Even cooking for her would not get her to eat more than once every 2 days. My veterinarian recommended Nature's Variety canned grain free food. I tried the beef flavor for her and the dog immediately ate the food and now eats one can a day in half servings (2x a day!). She has put back most of the weight she had lost and is actually "demanding" I feed her...the product is excellent. I have also provided the Nature's Variety kibble as an additional source of food, and she snacks on that as well. August 11, 2013
