Nature's Variety Instinct Grain-Free Beef Formula Canned Dog Food
Nature's Variety Canned Beef...smells good enough for me to eat.
I started feeding my 3 1/2 year old Lab, Major, canned and dry Nature's Variety Grain Free about 2 months ago. Major has suffered from bloat since he was 6 months old...he had emergency GDV surgery at 6 months and has suffered tummy troubles (bloating, gas, HGE, etc) since then. I have tried other premium dog foods with some success, but have had the most improvement so far with Nature's Variety. I have an idea that it might be the Montmorillonite Clay that is helping to settle his troubles. The ingredients are high quality and as soon as you pop the tab on the can, you'd swear you were at grandma's house for Sunday dinner...the roast beef aroma smells so tastey you might be tempted to try it for yourself.

Good Food for my Baby's IBS
I have been pleased with all of the Nat. Var. Instinct canned foods that I have served. I have used pork, salmon, beef, & venison. I have a dachshund, Luffy, with IBS. And, I completely empathize. We finally figured out that he is sensitive to chicken. It has been a struggle to find a food with an alternative protein that that does not ruin their product by adding chicken fat, and/or other digestive irritants. The Nat. Var. Instinct canned foods that I have used, exclude these common irritants. Luffy's stool is now firm and normal, and his gas has reduced in amount and frequency.

A Healthy Choice
My dog is a very finicky eater. I have yet to find a
dog food he will eat without me forcing him to eat.
I bought this because of the healthy ingredients. One
suggestion: not so much liquid because I have to
hand feed it. Anyway, it is a good choice.

Dog loves it
This is a great food for dogs or cats. The natures instinct canned food is exactly the same for dogs or cats. I even contacted the company to verify. They emailed me back to say that I could feed any of the canned instinct products to our dog or cat since they were balanced and appropriate for dogs and cats. My dog loves the beef flavor, but I usually order the chicken because my cat prefers it. I have the 13.2 ounce cans of chicken on auto delivery from chewy and occasionally buy the beef to add variety to my dog's diet. The natures instinct canned dog food is convenient to feed, balanced for dogs or cats and carrageenan free. Chewy has great prices on the food too.

My boxer has Histiocytic Ulcerative Colitis and this is the only food that she is able to eat. Beef formula only. She has been on this food for 6 months now, and her bowel movements have been solid and without blood. Also, no more waking us up in the middle of the night to run outside. We mix this with the frozen variety of Nature's Variety Beef and she licks her bowel clean.

Our dogs love every flavor
We have a "blue" colored dog and were told to use grain free products to help with the reduction in potential allergies related to the dogs color. Our dogs were placed on the same diet to make it easier on the person feeding the dogs.
We have tried numerous grain free products and brands. Thus far, Natures Variety is always accepted by our dogs. The stools are formed and the volume is much less than with other brands.
We are pleased with how the product(s) work for us so there is no need to try other brands.

Best can food!!!
I actually feed this food to my cat! Because of the 13 oz can, it is WAY more economical than Nature's Variety 5.5 oz can of cat food. Identical ingredients, vitamins and minerals. This was confirmed by the company!!! My cat loves it and being a rescue, his coat, weight and overall health and energy has been amazing!!! Also, rotate with their chicken flavor.
